So is the dialogue different between you and Jun if you play as a girl or a boy?

I think it's the same.

Well anyway, I've always thought Lucas and Brendan were rather bland. I've heard that May acts quite differently to how Brandon does though, apparently May has a crush on you when you play as the boy? When you play as the girl, Brandon acts a little like Gary, acting a bit arrogant, just not as much :/

I think that's because we're so used to playing the boy rather than the girl. So it seems out of place when we listen to the boy as your partner/rival.

Binky Boy is Marik, Bakura wouldn't get a silly name like that. Bakura is Limey Man XDD The more spoiler tags, less likely someone will accidentally click XD

I did actually bother to write down the whole of the first part with Jun in o.O It actually didn't take long at all. I just played as the girl. I think Jun x Hikari may be one of my favourite shippings out of every fandom I've been in now. Not my absolute favourite, but one of them.

I'll put it in spoilers, I'm not expecting anyone to read it the whole way through, heh, but the parts that are shippy-ish are where he's trying to persuade you to run into the grass, where he tries to take the blame for you, where he let's you pick your Pokemon first because he's a "man" XD. Also, "Me and you together, we've got nothing to fear!" is just so cute. And you're right, if you're playing as the boy, those scenes don't sound shippy at all, it really doesn't seem cute (to me, anyway o.O) and it just looks as though he's showing off. Well, he is in both, but yeah.

Oh, some parts I just thought were funny where where he thinks you can avoid wild Pokemon by running across the grass rather than walking XD I wish that were so...also "We don't have anything on us! You know, Poke Balls! P-O-K-accent-E Balls!" XD

Would the dialogue look shippy if you played as a guy? And has the Gary-esque rival ever been a girl...?

I dunno, playing as the boy in D/P/Pt made me sense some shippy moments. Very faint though.

Yeah, I love that too. In D/P, the dialogues in the game have reached a new level, but the dialogues in Platinum may be the icing on the cake.

You missed the dialogues when you say "No". I always do that in my games. Say "No" first and see what they say. XD

Cyrus x Cynthia is a crackship? There are a million "legit" ships that I would say are more unlikely than that one. I mean, at least these two people have met and have often ackonowledged each other's presence as individuals.

Although it does have about a 0% chance of happening, doesn't every other ship? Haha, Pokemon seems to clam up at any sign of potential romance. It'll probably kill them if Ash has to end up with someone. Which is why it wouldn't happen til Pokemon was canceled anyway.

Thank you ^^ Yeah, the scene at the start changes so you don't get your Pokemon by the lake, but in Route 201

In RSE the dialogue for your rival changed if you played as a girl or a boy. There have only been girl rivals in RSE and DPPt and even then that's only the other playable character, so there's not been much chance for a girl version of Gary XD I think they like to make the playable characters nice

I think the picture is actually a good representation...it's talking about how rubbish Pokemon shipping is. The quickly and poorly edited in pictures of the girls represents how everyone rushes to bmgf to make their shipping name official, despite how bad their name is. The random girl with the glasses next to Duplica shows how people don't know the existence of many ships in Pokemon. The girl that was drawn in represents that no ship in Pokemon is ever going to happen.

That's all I can think up interpret at the moment. I just like Ash's reaction to it all.
