The internet gave birth to many kinds of congregated interests and hobbies throughout the years. One of them being ships.
A ship, in internet terms, is when two characters get paired together throughout the story. Some become canon, while others are either in limbo or get debunked for various reasons.
Here are some of my favourite ships to help get things started.
1. Dipcifica (Gravity Falls)
A terrific ship and ghost-busting duo that left a significant impact, despite only being a one episode wonder, prior to an eventual tale in Lost Legends. Dipper and Pacifica contrast each other significantly well and brought out the absolute best in each other, despite their conflicts.
Pacifica even gained profound character development as a result of her time with Dipper in Northwest Mansion Mystery, a solid episode of the show with a terrifying supernatural villain and introduced many to a chilling and abusive practice called "Pavlovian conditioning."
2. Flinn (Adventure Time)
Although it was bust and for naught in the end, I enjoyed the good times Finn did have with Flame Princess.
Hands down their best and noteworthy episodes together would have to be Hot to the Touch, Burning Low and Vault of Bones.
It was a wholesome ship that grew to be one of the best the show had to offer, considering that every other female was way out of Finn's league, mainly in the age department. FP was that perfect soulmate that the show sadly had no idea on how to commit since Rebecca Sugar left for a noteworthy project; Steven Universe.
Tangent aside, Finn and Flame Princess had such a precious relationship that deserved so much better.
3. Lumity (The Owl House)
Another LGBT+ ship that has successfully won the hearts of many lately, myself included.
Although I've yet to see the Grom episode, I am still happy to see Amity warm up to Luz and get into some thrilling adventures with her.
What ships do you support and why?
