    Forretress

    Toxic Spikes
    Rapid Spin
    Gyro Ball
    Explosion

    Registeel

    Stealth Rock
    Thunder Wave
    Seismic Toss
    Rest

    Blissey
    252 HP/252 Sp. Def/4 Def (Bold) w/Leftovers

    Gengar

    Agility
    Ice Punch
    Meteor Mash
    Earthquake

My main strategy is Sub FP with Weavile until I get KO'd. If I get Knocked out but have time to Stall, I go to Forretress to set up toxic spikes and get rid of other spikes and stealth rocks. If I have nothing left in me I'll just use explosion. Then I switch into Registeel to set up Stealth Rock and more status conditions. If I need to clean up status conditions, or a surprise counter attacker. Because I lowered Blissey's defense stat, even a small physical hit can KO a pokemon, and then I softboil to recover. After I lay down what I want to, I start with Gengar, and if i unexpectedly get badly hit, I take whatever down with Destiny Bond. I then get to Metagross for a surprise Agility boost, and eventually sweep.

My record with this team is 20-11. The big problems with it are its huge problem with fire weakness, and It feels like I need another attacker, but I don't know who to take out.

I'm open to all opinions except taking out Weavile as my starter. In my 3 years that I've played pokemon online, Weavile has always been my main attacker, and it's really the only thing that really works for me.

    Thank you for reading.

Yeah, you do have a huge Fire Weakness. Let's try and fix that a bit.

Don't use SubPunch Weavile, especially not as a lead. It's just not very good. You aren't doing anything to stop other leads. When you use substitute, you are basically giving your opponent a free turn to do whatever they want like set up Stealth Rock.

Weavile as a lead works best with the following set:

    Weavile @Focus Sash
    Hasty Nature
    6 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd

    -Taunt
    -Fake Out
    -Counter
    -Night Slash/Ice Punch

Fake Out opponents to break any Focus Sashes. If they are slower and try to use entry hazards, use Taunt. After the Taunt, beat them with Night Slash/Ice Punch or Counter if they are physical attackers like Metagross.

For Forretress, give it Stealth Rock (over Explosion) so that it can do Registeel's job. Use Spikes over Toxic Spikes as Spikes will damage more opponents than Toxic Spikes.

Now you have a free slot!

For this, we need a Pokemon that isn't weak to Fire and can sweep.

Starmie is a good choice for this team. It counters Infernape which you have a weakness to and it makes a good sweeper in general.

    Starmie @Life Orb
    Timid Nature
    Natural Cure
    4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd

    -Surf
    -Ice Beam
    -Thunderbolt
    -Recover

Your Gengar cannot deal with Scizor or Tyranitar, two common counters. Use Focus Blast instead of HP Ground so you can damage both Tyranitar AND Heatran. Change your Hidden Power to Fire for Scizor.

On Metagross, use Thunderpunch over Ice Punch or else Skarmory walls you. Change its nature to Adamant! Metagross has no business using Impish if it's trying to sweep.

Concerning EVs on defensive Pokemon, I just posted this in another thread:

If you want to EV a defensive Pokemon, look at its HP compared to its Defense/Special Defense.

If HP < Defense/Special Defense, max out HP first (i.e. Shuckle, Dusknoir)
If HP > Defense/Special Defense, max out Defense/Special Defense first (i.e. Blissey, Vaporeon)

Pokemon with high defenses, but low HP will take less damage if you give it more HP EVs. Pokemon with high HP, but low defenses will take less damage if you give it more EVs in its defenses.

Registeel fits the first category, so it needs 252 HP (But you aren't using it anymore). Blissey fits the 2nd one, so it needs 252 Defense EVs.

I've never tried that on a Weavile. I've made the changes and I'll see how it does on Shoddy. thanks for the tips.
