Will there be different rankings per tier. Since doing it separately for each tier makes more sense to me

Jake and I decided to keep it simple and treat them all the same. Hopefully that isn't a issue though.

Updated the OP with Self-KO clause, forgot about that one.

Posting to say that this was when I stopped updating.

Well, keeping it separate really brings out the best, for example, there may be a player who is really really good at Uber but is really bad at NU and UU, he will not gain any points for 2 days, whereas other players could gain many more points in those two days.

So keeping it separate will be better for players who specialize in specific tiers. If you bring the argument up of players' versatility being shown, it can be shown through battling in all days and winning in all days too.
If you say that this is simpler, the solution is, Just split it. People are posting the tiers anyways, so you can just make out who won what in which tier and thus split their points so for example you can have:

Player x: 2(OU), 5(Uber), 1(UU), 0(NU)

ok, i was battling Cool560 when he left - only 1 move had been used and no pokemon had fainted, what does this mean? do i get a point? does he lose one? does it not count? i don't want to sound mean but i thought i should let you know - he left unexplained

My PC shut down .. I have no idea why .
Please excuse me, I just selected a move and then ... bam ! My screen went black ...
