Should I evolve my Pikachu?

    I have prepared 6 teams to put onto PBR whenever it is released in the UK, but I was unhappy with one that consisted of

    Gallade
    Swampert
    Magnezone
    Probopass
    Mamoswine
    Espeon

    So I decided to remake it and I considered using my one and only PBR Pikahcu with Surf and Volt Tackle to fill a gap. Because want to use it competetively, I wandered whether I should evolve it to give it's stats a major boost, or to keep it as the legendary Pikachu that it is. Anybody tell me what I should do?
     
    C-dog has had much sucess with Pikachu. I like Raichu best.
     
    No, surprisingly. Took down two of my pokes.
     
    Also, what would be a good moveset? I was thinking

    Surf
    Thunder Wave
    Volt Tackle
    Light Screen/Reflect
     
    I just beat the Elite four in Diamond but I evolved my Pikachu before then because poor Pikachu wouldn't have endoored most of the Elite 4's harsh attacks. I gave Raichu a light Ball I imported from a friend.


    Raichu lvl 49: Held Item: Light Ball

    Thunder

    Focus Blast

    Thunderbolt

    Iron Tail



    And you know? Raichu turned out faster then Pikachu, which speed helps when facing the elite four. Through after I beat the elite four I sorta regretted evolving Pikachu because I wanted it to learn Volt Tack, but * sighs * Raichu is just as good ^^. You know how good Pikachu is in the anime especially with Iron Tail, so that's why I taught it Iron Tail, not Volt Tackle but close enough. :P

    Thing is people, I need it to know Volt Tackle and Surf, because they are not worth deleting.
     
    I don't know about Volt Tackle, but you can Replace Grass Knot with Surf.
