Should I get back into the Anime?

So go ahead and give me your opinions. I've always been a fan of the games, but I grew out of the Anime a long time ago besides the occasional early morning episode.

So tell me, is the Anime any good recently?

Hmm, the problem with this question is that you're never really going to get a straight answer. There will be many who come in and bash on the newer seasons while there will be some who actually give a thumbs up to the anime today. Those who dislike it is probably because they are strong believers in that the original anime was the best and that today's Pokémon show has become old, horrible, and predictable. Those who say they like it, is probably because they've given it a chance and has grown to enjoy it or because they like Pokémon in general and aren't hard criticizers of the show today, but watch it just for entertainment.

Me, I like the Pokémon anime that runs today for the DP arc. It's enjoyable and maybe it might not be the best like it used to be, but I watch it for the same reason I watched it before, because it interests me. I would suggest that you probably take some time and watch the newer series and judge on your own whether you like it or not. If you do, then hey, try and find the past newer shows you missed and try to pick up from where you left off. If not, then it's probably best you don't waste your time watching the show, but continue playing the games if that's what you prefer.

It depends on your views and lifestyles. If you have nothing else to watch on Saturdays then I say watch it.

If you grew out of the anime though, chances are you won't like it much. I am pretty sure they still have most of the episodes up on YouTube, heck, even Cartoon Network's got one and a lot of clips.

I haven't watched the anime since Diamond and Pearl, but when I saw some episodes on Cartoon Network before going to school, I was like "I missed this?! Wow!" and I got hooked onto the episode. But I got to find some more episodes and watch them.

I for one got back into the anime about 3 years ago. Started from the first episode and currently up to date with USA. Let me just say it does get quite addicting especially when Ash makes it into the various Pokemon leagues. Have fun if you do get back into it :)
