2nd Gen Should I, or should I not?

    Since I'm a Pokemon old timer( Which means I like the old games) I want to play Pokemon Red,Blue, Or Yellow so I was searching on Ebay and I found one but I saw my brother had a Blue Version and so I wanted to play it but he does not like people touching his things and he had alot of rare pokemon and such cause I saw him play it with me .....
    but he has nt played it for like a year and so well I thought should I just take it and start a new game.. or I take it and he finds out I deleted his file and roast me(...NOT) but I asked my mom before I was going to bid on it and I told her about it and I told her the story and she said well just use it and then I told her that he does not like people touching his things(which she already knew) because she knows me and him xD
    but what do you think.... Knowing him would you do it.. or not... Wat do you think?
     
    eeeeh....I .....woudn't... But then again, I'm too nice...most people would probably just go 'Hey look! Blue!' *takes* ...but eeh...
    I'd ask him, at least.

    It's what I think to do because he's nice to me and I don't want to take his things because he does not take mine...
     
    I think this belongs in the forum for Pokemon games...

    As for your question, I don't know if I would, but as Drew said, I'm kind of overly-nice in some situations. n_n;

    Yeah, I'd recommend asking your brother about it before doing anything else.

    I haven't played my Crystal verison in a long time and I want to because I want to start a new game but I can't. My first Charizard is on there and I really care for it even if it is out of date. Still with my Charizard there I know I did my best to to bring him to the highest possible advancement as possible. I like it and I don't want to leave him. It the meaning and purpose from the old times. I so hate my family if they deleted my file. IT the meaning.

    I say no. It may be data but it data with meaning. YOu wouldn't like it if he detete your file with your best and favorite pokemon would you?

    Sorry for the off-topicness but why does it belong in the Pokemon section, I want to know answers and solution.... to this problem..

    Those were my thoughts too.... I wouldn't want anyone deleting my Raichu from my old yellow game... Had that Raichu for 7 years... <3

    Because it's about the Pokemon games, so I just assumed it might go in the section for Pokemon games. Forgive me; I'm not a mod, and may actually be completely wrong.... @_@'

    In any case, I agree with what charizard_maa said...It may seem like just data on a game, but such data can develop sentimental value to an individual if the person has worked hard on it....

    That's what he kind of told me when I asked him... I asked him and he said NO.... I don't want you to delete my file... He has like a mewtwo and other rare Pokemon....

    Don't I wish you could have 2 files at the same time xD
     
    Eh, this seems like it would fit better in one of the Pokemon Game forums, seeing as how Other Voting Polls is for topics that don't have any other place - and this is a question that definitely refers to the pokemon games. :/ Moving it to the Metal/Color Generation forum, as that seems like the best place for it...

    i say no as well.
    on my old crystal game,i have this lvl 100 meganium,and if anyone restarted it,i would strangle them.ive had that game for...lets see...3-4 years?
    it may just be data on a chip to some,but its not.its much more.
    i have a bond with my meganium.im never EVER restarting mine.

    but do what ever you want...i hope you make the right choice.

    In my silver I have a passion with my Haunter, I know it's a wierd Pokemon but <3 Haunter...

    It sits in the corner of his last drawer with his Gameboy color... I have decided not to take it from him.. Like i said he is nice to me and so as I am nice in return....
     
    heck no...my bro took a game from me,and reased the data....if he hasn't played it,...then most likley he's secretly proud...(I dunno...)but do it,and I'm sure he'll be pissed(depending on the persionality he has...I don't know him! :\)

    Anyways, I've already decided not to take it, I'll just keep trying to find it..
     
    Yeah, I agree, don't take the game and buy a second hand one. I restarted my Silver game, but I just couldn't delete my party pokemon, which I'd traned to lvl 100 and became very attatched too. Strange how those bits of pixels can affect you. But yeah, I ended up trading my party pokemon to my brother, then traded them back again.
