Hey guys gracious All Hallows' Eve. OK now a tiny bit more seriously, I need help Idk if I should train more or just try to get through the pokemon league. Heres my team

    Raikou @ n/a (suggestions?)
    Level 43
    Moves:
    -Rain Dance
    -Thunder
    -Charge Beam
    -Strength

    Magmar @ Amulet Coin
    Level 45
    Moves:
    -Flamethrower
    -Lava Plume
    -Rock Smash
    -Faint Attack

    Sandslash @ Muscle Band
    Level 45
    Moves:
    -Earthquake
    -Slash
    -Rollout
    -Shadow Claw

    Feraligatr @ Quick Claw
    Level 45
    Moves:
    -Slash
    -Crunch
    -Waterfall
    -Avalanche

    Lugia @ n/a (suggestions?)
    Level 47
    Moves:
    -Surf
    -Fly
    -Extrasensory
    -Aeroblast

    Dragonite @ Dragon Claw
    Level 55
    Moves:
    -Wing Attack
    -Aqua Tail
    -Dragon Dance
    -Dragon Claw

OK any advice? Oh and I only EV trained my Sandslash in attack and defense since she has 30 attack IVs and with Dragonite I think I'll DESTROY lance since I dont have to use it prior to him and i can get to him w/o items. Gonna still raise the rest of my team to 47~50 before I try though.

With a team like that, it seems that you would probably be able to get through the Elite Four in a few moments. If you want, you could train them up to level 50 so that it's easier. The only challenge with your team right now would probably be with the Champion, as his Pokemon are right on the 50 level or 50 border. Hope this helped. :)

Yeah, LV 50 is a good level, since Lance's strongest pokemon is 50. However, if you want to evolve Dragonair, I'd use the following moveset for Dragonite:

    Dragon Dance
    Dragon Claw
    Earthquake
    Roost

Basically set up with a few Dragon Dances to raise Attack, then heal any damage taken while setting up with Roost, then proceed to sweep using DClaw or EQ. The Earthquake TM is found in victory road and Dragon Claw is 1st prize in the goldenrod department store lottery. I forget the day of the week though. I use Dragon Claw over Dragon Rush since DR is too inaccurate.

This set has never yet failed me. I've swept the entire E4 save Lance with this Dragonite set alone. You can get rid of the HM moves with the Move Deleter and then use the Move Relearner in Blackthorn to alter movesets if you need to.

Get them to at least level 60-75, and you should do fine.

Yeah, I think you should train. I beat the E4 pretty easily with Pokemon in their early 50s, so just get them up to that level and you should be fine. I don't think there's a huge need for ridiculous grinding (*Hint hint* Above post), that's like preparing for Red. Levels 50 - 55 or so should be fine.

When I first went through the Elite Four, I had most of my pokemon at lvl 47-48, except my Feraligatr, who was at 52 or something. I beat the first four guys without taking hardly any damage at all, and the only pokemon of Lance's that gave me a lot of trouble was his Charizard (although Scizor + Occa Berry survived a Fire Fang with >50% health ftw).
