    Should this game be in 3D? i think it should, because even though the gameplay on colosseum and XD were bad the graphics were really cool. and it would be nice now that we're getting a pokemon game on the DS they should make the game in 3D
     
    Uh.... there have been screenshots of the game for a pretty long time now. And it's not in 3D, but I think it still looks great.
     
    Actually, part of it is. Have u seen paper Mario? It's kinda like that. The terrain and buildings are 3D, but everything else (trees, characters, rocks, etc.) is flat. I like to call it 2-and-a-half-D.
     
    I dunno if they should put it in 3-D on the DS...the graphics would be all squished and it would be hard to show all of the buildings, trees, etc. I think that they should make an actual Pokemon Game, like R/S or R/B/Y on the gamecube or another console. It would look better on the TV..that would be awesome!
     
    Well actually... if they made Pokemon like Animal Crossing: WW, then that might work... HMMMMMMMMMM...
     
    Noway, 3D will take up way too much space, while it's 2d gamefreak can make better use of the free space. Pokemon D/P are 2d and there are some 3d effects.
     
    It's in 2.5-D like #1 Latias mentioned...hasn't everyone already seen the videos...?
     
    Oh come on... What's the point of a traditional 2D Game with a 2D-only-style? I would be definately dissatisfied if the games turned out 3D... Firstly, even though if the graphics were 3D, they would be pixelated and bad. Furthermore, playing handeheldly in such a small screen like DS's 3D would be really a bad sence. Finally, playing Pokemon on handeheld and 3D would be bad itself, maybe on Wii a traditinally-Pokemon-RPG would turn out being fun, but at least on DS with a small screen no... definately no. If Nintendo manage to create a Handeheld Console with a more big screen a 3D might not turn out to be bad.
