Suggestion: Show off your Emblems

If you want to show off your Emblems, why not just make a section in your signature for them? Sure, you need to limit your sig to a smaller picture, but as it is an optional choice, it could work.

I really don't want this. The loading time for most pages with the internet connection I have is slow enough as it is, I don't want to add more images to that. Hidden or not, they would still have to be loaded when you go to a page. Granted they'd be cached immediately after, it's still something I would prefer not to have. There's a reason we have signature limits, other than it being a pure annoyance to have to view large signatures.

I see this more as unnecessary than anything else to be honest. It would just make the post bit of users look a bit too cluttered and unprofessional in my opinion. I prefer the slot it has on our profiles a lot better than bringing it out to making it seem like a huge part of the forum ─ which it isn't. Not to mention, resizing some of the emblems would leave some of them looking very distorted or low in quality, which again, would just make one's post bit looking cluttered and unprofessional.

I also agree with Nica when she said that emblems aren't meant to have much importance on the forum. It's just a nice way of rewarding users for partaking in events on the forum and giving them some sort of recognition for the fun of it.

I really, really can't say it much better than this.

Emblems aren't meant to be something you flaunt around for any reason at all, imo. It's a nice way to recognize someone for something but that's all. I greatly prefer it being on profiles, particularly because that way the only reason someone would look at your emblems is if they want to see all of your recognitions. I mean emblems are nice and they're a good amendment to the forums imo buuuut it's not something that needs to be waved around in front of other people anyway.

...I hope that made some logical sense, lol. :(
