Question: "show single post"

I know it's a very simple question, but...

how do you get the "show single post" URL that you see so often?

furthermore, can/how do you do the same thing with VMs?

Look to the corner of your post, you'll see a number "1" right there. Right click and copy the location of that number 1.
(Usually top right, but if you look around depending on your style you're using, you'll see it eventually)

As for vms, there was a tutorial posted right here, which will help you do it.

Right click the small number towards the right side of the post and copy that link. I've got you a screenshot to help you understand:
