would it be good to set one of these up with power trick to use as a physical sweeper or would it be better for an annoyer/wall.

If you have a pokemon that learns Trick Room, Shuckle is a very nice sweeper. Without Trick Room, it is best suited as a wall.

Strategy: Having Brave nature will make you most likely the last without Trick Room, Power Trick exchanges Attack with Defense, having the EVs in attack will make shuckle survive some attacks after a Power Trick. Substitute for no damage(apart from the 1/4) or Double Team for Luck.

How many times must I say Double Team is illegal, especially on Shuckle?
And that Power Trick thing wont work so well, hence why Shukle sucks. The turn it uses Power Trick, it will be attacked. His HP is too low to survive his own Substitute, and Seismic Toss/Night Shade will murder it.

Trick Room support for Power Trick Shuckle isn't worth the trouble. You barely get a turn to hurt your opponent after using Substitute and Power Trick, and even that can be countered by moves like Roar, Taunt, priority moves and the likes.
Shuckle is solely good as an annoyer/wall with this set:
Knock Off
Encore (won't let them set up on you as it even goes through substitutes)
Stealth Rock / Toxic
Rest

Hard to use shuckle IMO, but use the set above me or Penguin's...the only thing it can do okay at all, so yeah. Encore is a nice move.

Hey, we aren't beating down your advice, we are beating down Shuckle. Your set was solid, but Shuckle isn't, ironically.
