    I've opened yet another new thread... Darn it, I always do that.
    Oh, and I made sure that there was no living thread about this anime.

    Does anyone watch Shugo Chara?
    I personally like it a lot. It makes me feel motivated because I kinda look outgoing and energetic in the outside, but... I keep stuff to myself and is really reserved in front of my classmates.
    This show makes me wanna be brave and show my otakuism to my classmates.

    So, you like it? You hate it? Whatever your response is, please post! We need more fans here.
     
    Bleh.. I've seen a few episodes, read a couple of the manga's.

    After a while, I got sick of Amu and the rest of the cast. Nadeshiko was cool and the Guardian Chara's are awright. Miki and Yoru are my faves.

    Amuto creeps me out though... and I feel like I'm the only one who's creeped out by the fact that Ikuto's a practically a grown ass man (17/18), crushing on a minor like Amu (12/13) Fan's say its cute and their ment for each other... now I thought it was cute, when I first read it.. that was before I knew how old she was.. then I found out he's like 5 years older than her. If they were both past the age of 20, then I wouldn't care, but she's in Elementary School. He said he loved her What the hell do you see in a kid that has yet to hit puberty!?

    Her attitude? I don't understand how fans don't find that the least bit creepy, they support it! If they were older, I mean I wouldn't have a problem, but the fact still remains she 12 years old! That's not cute! I've given up on it though, the cutesy factor was a bit much for me... I couldn't stand all the sweetness and Amu's generic Sailor Moon Barney, evil is bad Speech, with extra powers of friendship, she irked me.
     
    I'm a fan~ Its cute. But I pretty much gave up on the anime and went back to being manga-only a while ago. I'm not nearly as into the manga as I used to be, though.

    The good thing about this anime is that everyone seems to have some story about not being themselves~ I do too.

    But Amu Hinamori. Oh my gosh, Amu Hinamori. I love/hate that girl. Dx Sometimes I like her as a main character, but her mary-sue-ness makes me want to bonk her on the head. I'm sick and tired of her always being in the spotlight. It seems the only thing that's keeping me from disliking her now is her wardrobe.

    My favorite characters are Tadase and Nagihiko~
     
    I watch the series. I have to admit that the thing that caught me into it was the humor. I am big fan of comedies and really all the junk that AMu goes though gets me laughing. She is just a magnet for all that junk that happens to her in the beginning of the series and really it just funny. I also like how there are some episode dedicated to the other character so it isn't always on Amu.

    There are also times when I look at the characters (mostly Amu) and call them all idiots. Then I laugh it off and go on.

    I read the manga and watch the anime. I feel that both have their things going for them as the manga does show things that are nice but the anime has it own little easter eggs.

    As in the love thing between Amu and Ikuto. I find it strange but I also kind of find it realistic. Now I know it is creepy with the age thing but what I mean by realistic is that they are different ages. Most love things in animes like Shugo Chara they are like the same ages. I understand this is school but it nice to see a change with the love people. Also there are other love stories in the anime that are fun to watch.

    Ikuto and Nagi and Nade are my favorites. Amu is guarantee so it doesn't count. haha
     
    I planned to let the thread die because no one replied, but thanks...

    The characters I love are Ikuto (because he's the lone wolf, and usually lone wolfs get loved by the fandom), Tadase (I like him when he's all prince-y), and Kukai. Nadeshiko and Nagihiko are fine for me.

    Something I noticed with my friend. WHY do most of the main/secondary-but-mainish characters look like girls?!
     
    Still the girls love it when an Ikuto cosplayer comes at an anime con (Who is a guy). heeheehee

    I don't know. I guess that is how the manga artist want them to look like. To tell the truth I only notice it with Tasade and Kairi. Still I like it when I get to see pictures of Tasade in a skirt because he just pulls it off so well. haha

    Still it hurts to go back to the first season because of Nadeshiko...
     
    Hehehe. I LOVE SHUGO CHARA!! <33 It's SOOO CUTE!

    Not to mention that I find the whole concept of the show to be very much inspiring. Hinamori Amu ish mah heroine~~~!! <3

    But yeah, I enjoy the show so much. It's a really good show, if you let the cutesy nature of it slide. (You'd even learn to love it if you gave it a chance) But seriously, the first season made me cry every few episodes, it was just that epic. And the second season is so awesome as well!!~)

    I haven't read the manga though, don't plan to either. I kinda like to be able to hold the manga in my hands, and well, I cant do that since it's in japan, and there's no English/US release either. >_>

    I understand, but Amu is no ordinary 12 year old. Ikuto x Amu is so romantic <3 I like the pairing too bad Vampy-chan took it =[
