This thread here is to tell about your silly stories while you were trying to be an awesome trainer, I'll go first.

So I got my Diamond game, and ran into a patch of grass. I ran from battles, and came across a Yellow shinx, i was like oh whatever. Then I ran into a light blue shinx and i was like wow that must be shiny! i caught it, but then i found out that the yellow shinx was shiny and not the blue one../ :-(

Oh man, that sucks. xD I have a shiney story too. You know Snover? Well I had randomly came across one right after I evolved my Eevee into a Glaceon, and at the time I was still excited over my Glaceon, so I paid the Snover no attention. Then after I ran away it hit me that I had found a shiny female snover. ;-; I even checked bulbapedia to confirm it in case I was just seeing things because all I saw was a slight color swap for the green parts and sho' nuff it was a shiny.

I don't really have many others except for just random little bloopers that happened here and there, like I accidentally wasted my masterball on Ho-oh on my first run without even realizing it. I thought it was a dusk ball. xDD It was at night for me and I couldn't see, I'll have that as an excuse. P:
