3rd Gen Silph-Co Upgrade?

I have got two items now that are silph-co upgrades and i am clueless. Can anybody tell me the perpose of these items? I don't understand what they are there for! :dead:

They are to eleove the pokemon Porygon.

How many do i need to do that? I have lotsa porygons! My ittle cousin thats 8 gets me to breed pokemon that nobody can find then he sells them for lotsa money. MeggaDitto! You are a hero!

you give porygon the upgrade and trade it and it evolves into porygon2.

Trade it? No problem! But how many of the devces can you get? This game has got so much complicated since i joined here!

I figured that you could get more because i got one as a prize at battle tower. BUt i have only done it once so i figured there would be more.

Yeah you are right.But I ment find in the grass or wherever that meand for other items like Dragon Scale.

I can't remember where i found the other one but i thought it was something that i got money for. I thought that i was doinggood getting it to silph-co. Oh well.
