    This is an RP about a trilogy of books written by Kenneth Oppel. It picks up where the last book,Firewing,left off. It's basically about bats who have to save the world and the sun from an evil god called Cama Zotz. I will explain more once enough people have joined.You can be a character from the books or a made-up one. Below are a few colonies from the trilogy.
    Silverwings:A colony of bats that has silver fur. The main character,Shade,is a Silverwing.
    Brightwings:A group of bats with bright brown fur. Marina,one of the most important characters,is one.
    Vampyrum Spectrum: A carnivorous clan of cannibal bats who worship Zotz and try to help him conquer Earth. Goth,the main villian,is one of these.

    Description:Augrey likes to do echolocation tricks. She is brave and smart, but, like Shade, is a runt. She hates being the runt and longs for a chance to prove to the other Silverwings that big things come in small packages.

    The pyramid towered high above the jungle trees, its vast shape dark and mysterious against the sky. Inside it, on the level just before the roof, a ceremony was taking place...
    A tiny bat, almost nothing but bones, laid trembling in front of a terrible monster of a bat. He was bound to the spot, too weak to even struggle to free himself. The Vampyrum grinned at him nastily. Then he looked up toward the roof, above which mighty black clouds were circling in the night sky. "Cama Zotz!" he cried in his deep voice. "We have done your bidding! I am still your most faithful servant! Phoenix and I have bred followers! We created a huge army for you! And now that Shade is dead nothing can stop you! Just a few more of these hearts and the world will be YOURS! What Shade prevented will at last happen! This sacrifice is for you, great Zotz!!!!" Goth's claw tore into the small bat, pulling out the still-beating heart. It still was beating as it slid down his throat. The eclipse is near.. Goth thought with evil happiness, taking off into the jungle once again..

    WILL NO ONE JOIN??? *is angry again(no, more like furious)* I might be quadruple-posting, but it's because no one's joining, and no one likes my RPs, and no one cares that I'm angry, and that's reason enough!
     
    *takes out her anger on a pillow, a pair of socks, and numerous other inanimate objects* Too bad no one's answering. I thought this RP would have a good future, but since it's one of mine I guess it's cursed..

    I guess... But no one's going to join... I just know it.. One of my other RPs hasn't had one post besides mine for about a year.....
     
    I made three RPs besides this one. One was active, but it quickly went extinct. The others were never joined by anybody. *sighs* Maybe I'm not a good RP maker.. Well, I'll wait, although ever since the first post I've been waiting for months.. September 18th-December 8th.. Sorry for being impatient...

    YAY!!!!!!! We can start! ^^

    IC:Augrey flew around Treehaven, the Silverwing nursery where the mothers cared for their young bats. It was quite a tree, and stood out among the others. There were entrance holes in the branches so bats could get in, but, because of their size, no predators could. It was a safe place. But Augrey anticipated the day the group would migrate to Stonehold, where the older males were, and then on to Hibernaculum, where the bats spent the winter. She wondered what her dad was like. She was born here, and, like the rest of her generation of the young bats, had never migrated. It seemed so unfair that the fathers and the mothers were kept in two different places. Her mother said that it was a tradition, something they did every year. But it wasn't reasonable.

    And she didn't like being holed up with the other young bats. They always made fun of her size, and called her "Augrey the Tiny". She HATED that. She tried to ignore it, but she couldn't. Even the adults often treated her like a baby. That just seemed to be the way things were. But it wasn't right.
     
    Perfect.... Kuni thought as she fine-tuned her latest and greatest prank. The only thing that was missing was someone to pull it on.

    The contraction she had set up was simple, yet genius. When an un-suspecting bat ran into the leaf, they would pull on the long blade of grass that Kuni used as a rope. Then, The rope would pull the giant leaf that held rainwater in it, and then the water would soak the other bat.

    "This ones gotta be the greatest one yet!" Kuni said gleefully, hiding behind a branch close by. She could hear wings flapping in the distance...
     
    Augrey flapped to a tree. She decided to practice her echolocation on one of its leaves. Concentrating hard, she closed her eyes and sent echoes toward it, picturing it moving in the direction her echoes wanted it to go. She heard water pouring down somewhere nearby. Funny. she thought. There aren't any waterfalls nearby. She opened her eyes and saw that the leaf had been brushed by her echoes. The branch near it was damp, and Augrey could guess what had happened. "As usual, someone tried play a prank on me." she said loudly,so whoever had done it could hear her. Then she flapped away in the direction she had been going. Must be Milne. she thought to herself, shaking her head. That bat likes to play pranks on me,call me Augrey the Tiny. But, although he's huge, he pays for it in brains. Honestly, he doesn't even know what a stalacite is! The other bats all were this way. Milne was the meanest, but the others were mean, too. And, like Milne, they all were idiots. They didn't ever want to LEARN anything. She was the only one who did.

    Description:An orphan taken in by the Silverwing colony. Kicked out for fighting. Has Dark green fur with flecks of silver. Is out spoken and an amazing fighter (Even though she was a runt). Became an assasin for weaker animals. Uses fire like the owls to make armor and other items. Is amazing at echoprojection.

    Komori is flying over Tree Haven and sees the new Silverwings,"My, my. Seems the Silverwings up and left their old tree. I wonder what it looks like inside?" Thinks of her time she spent there. Thinks,"I wonder if those Silverwings are the same as the Silverwings I grew up with? Idiots. They didn't even know what the bugs they ate were called. Used to pick fights with me. Ha! And I beat 'em all!" Looks down,"Guess I'll have a little fun with these idiots." Echoprojects a dragon near the new bats.
     
    OOC:Wow! You know that the owls use fire? You must have READ THE BOOKS! Yay! That makes two of us!
    IC:There was a fierce creature beyond the tree. Some kind of dragon. An echolocation trick. she thought. She had known as soon as she had seen it. She could tell echoes apart from the real thing. But who had made it? She was the expert echolocator of the newborns. None of the others could make a dragon. But it couldn't be one of the elders. For surely if they were so wise they wouldn't pull a prank on the newborns, would they? She had a sudden idea to get back on the prankster. But she decided instead to savor this moment, because Milne and a few other bats were cowering in fear of the dragon. Doofs. she thought with an inaudible giggle.
