i got a question but since i started a new game and isn't registered on my poekdex where can i find drowzee and staryu Dam how could i of forgot

drowzee route 11 and berry forest
fishing in pallet town, vermillion city, cinnibar island, island 1, icefall cave, five island, with the super rod for staryu

yet another question by me since i cant evolve my gloom vulpix and nidorina u must need stones which ones do i need for my pokemon and how do i get the stones to work on them?

Gloom > Vileplume: Leaf Stone
Gloom > Bellossom: Sun Stone
Vulpix > Ninetales: Fire Stone
Nidorina > Nidoqueen: Moon Stone

Leaf and Fire Stones can be gotten in exchange for Green and Red Shards at that Treasure Hunter's house near Mossdeep. You can find Green Shards on wild Relicanth and Red Shards on wild Luvdisc. On FR/LG, you can buy them at the Celadon Dept.

There's only ONE (or is it two?) Moon Stone(s) in Ruby/Emerald; the only one I can recall is in Meteor Falls. You can find several lying around in FR/LG and steal them from wild Clefairy and Lunatones in Sapphire.

It's basically the same deal for the Sun Stone: only one in Sapphire/Fire Red/Leaf Green, but you can steal them from wild Solrock. I'm not sure exactly where the Sun Stone is in each of the games.

Moon Stone Locations: (5)
Mt. Moon (2)
Rocket Game Corner
Pokemon Mansion
Berry Forest - Three Island

Fire Stone Locations:
Celadon Dept. Store ($2100)
Mt. Ember - One Island

Sun Stone Locations:
None in FRLG

Leaf Stone Locations:
Celadon Dept. Store: ($2100)
Safari Zone

To use them, go to items, select the Stone, select Use, and pick the appropriate Poke.

You find a Sunstone on the Ruin Valley on Island 7

I am not quite sure what you are asking, but I will say that you cannot evolve Nidoking and I will assume you are referring to Nidorino.

If I understand correctly, I will advise you that when a Poke evolves, its base stats will change. Here are Vulpix base stats:

HP 38, Atk 41, Def 40, SAtk 50, SDef 65, Spd 65, TOTAL 299

So you can see, Vulpix basically sucks as a Poke, not even getting past 300. Now, when it evolves into Ninetales its base stats change:

HP 73, Atk 76, Def 75, SAtk 81, SDef 100, Spd 100, TOTAL 505

Quite a jump in total base stats for Ninetales, in fact, even though it still is not a great Poke, it is in the top-60 when it comes to total base stats.

So, to hopefully answer your question, a Poke's stats will change when it evolves. Sometimes drastically.

i typed that in totally wrong i ment if i evolve vulpix and nidorina the male one with the stone will it affect there abilities e.g. bite, absorb etc.

Okay, still a little confused. When you say "abilities e.g. bite, absorb etc.", do you mean their actual Ability or their moves?

If you are referring to their Abilities, while some Pokes Abilities change when they evolve (i.e. Tyranitar's changes from Shed Skin (Pupitar) to Sand Stream), neither Vulpix nor Nidorino's Ability (Flash Fire and Poison Point, respectively) will change.

Now, if you are referring to their movepool, that is a different story. Let's start with Vulpix. Here is its movepool:

01 - Ember
05 - Tail Whip
09 - Roar
13 - Quick Attack
17 - Will-O-Wisp
21 - Confuse Ray
25 - Imprison
29 - Flamethrower
33 - Safeguard
37 - Grudge
41 - Fire Spin

One thing you should learn about "stone" evolutions like Ninetales, is that once you evolve them using a stone, their movepool becomes EXTREMELY limited. The only move that Ninetales can learn is Fire Spin and not until Lv42. So, what that means is if you get excited and evolve your Vulpix before Lv37, say Lv10, it will not learn any more moves until then. That means your Ninetales will be stuck with Ember, Tail Whip, and Roar. Sexy moves such as WOW or Grudge are now unlearnable. So make sure to use your "stones" wisely.

As for Nidoking, it follows the same principle. Here is NidoranM's movepool:

01 - Leer
01 - Peck
08 - Focus Energy
12 - Double Kick
17 - Poison Sting
20 - Horn Attack
23 - Helping Hand
30 - Fury Attack
38 - Flatter
47 - Horn Drill

Nidorino learns the same moves as NidoranM, but at higher levels:

18 - Poison Sting
22 - Horn Attack
26 - Helping Hand
34 - Fury Attack
43 - Flatter
53 - Horn Drill

Nidoking, like Ninetales, will only learn one move after it evolves from Nidoking, Thrash at Lv23. In FRLG though, it will also learn Megahorn at Lv43.

So, again, make sure you don't evolve your Poke or use your "stone" until you either have the moves you want already or don't need any of the others that the Poke will learn.

shane ill ask u this since u r quite familia with the whole evolving nidking thing when should i evolve my nidorino its at the moment at lvl 29

Mr Smile i think you should wait untill your nidorino gains a few more levels so it learns more moves faster, maybe evolve it at level 36 but it doesnt really matter if you do it early it will just take abit more time to learn different moves.

but i have never had a nidorina and nidoking be4 so im not used to them well and im just versing the 3rd GYM incase that will help since i just got HM cut

That depends. If you want Horn Drill, you will have to wait until Nidorino learns it at Lv53. If you want Megahorn, you will need to evolve Nidorino into Nidoking BEFORE Lv43, so it can learn it. Otherwise it won't. Personally, Megahorn >>>>>> Horn Dril. Go with that.

Lt Surge, what was your starter pokemon, Charizard will be perfect. Nidokings Horn attack should work well also i guess.

MehaHorn.
Level 43
Type - Bug
Att. 120
Acc 85
PP 10

Dont know about HornDrill, my Nidoking doesnt know it.
