Yeah, you have a mic... some laptops have mics built into them... Use Windows Recorder from start>programs>something>entertainment>sound recorder... I don't have an English version, so I'm just guessing.

Of course you need a mic. There are seperate programs (one of some sort might come with Windows) to record, save and modify. Try searching for the net for those programs.
