Pokemon Pearl Journal:

June 17, 2007

Did some training in the morning before work. Just randomly wandering around fighting wild pokemon. First, Magikarp finally evolved into Gyarados yesterday, becoming much stronger. Then, when I was cutting through Mt Coronet, I came upon a little Cleffa! I wasn't even looking for a new pokemon, so I feel it was pretty lucky because they're pretty rare. I had Bonsly battle and weaken it, then I tossed a pokeball and easily caught it. I went to the pokemon center and stored Bonsly, and took Cleffa with me instead. Next I'm going to focus on training Gyarados and prepare for my next gym battle. But the Solaceon Ruins beckon me to explore...

Pokemon Pearl Journal: Solaceon Ruins

I'm glad someone enjoys them! I actually started blogging my journal entries on my MySpace page shortly after I started the game. So the whole journal is on my blog, which I put the link to below. But I don't really think anyone reads it there, so when I found this thread, I figured I'd put it here as well, where people might actually find it interesting, heh. So, yeah, I think this is an awesome forum!

Finally! For the first time EVER, I have caught all 26 Unown! It took me all day searching the Solaceon Ruins to find them all, but I managed to do it! I actually thought it might take longer, but most of them were found pretty quickly. The last 6 or so took awhile. Gyarados helped a lot in catching them; a single Bite attack usually put the Unown in the red or close to it. While doing this, my Burmy evolved into Mothim, and it also helped me catch the last few, because ironically, it's Hidden Power attack ended up being bug-type, which of course is super-effective against psychic type Unown. I got the alphabet seals from a boy in town, so I can start modifying my pokeballs. Then I stored Gyarados at the PC in the pokemon center, and decided to take a break for the rest of the evening.

The order of the captures (just because I'm anal and feel the need to list it) is as follows: F, R, I, E, N, D, Z, Y, X, O, B, A, Q, V, S, L, G, U, P, W, M, K, H, Burmy evolved into Mothim, C, T, J

I am choosing Chimchar.
My rival is Xander.

Laters, will update afte I get more pokemon and 1st Badge.

I got a Chimchar and its a GIRL... and its Serious and east anything... Now thats awesome.

Last Night:

Caught a Lv 4, Shinx. Bold Nature. Male.
ChimChar evolved to a Monferno at Lv 14.
Got Rock Smash.
Defeated 1st gym Leader.
Shinx evovled into a Luxio at Lv 18.
Got a Rod.
Caught a Tentacool! Male and Naive nature.
Trained and battled Trainers.
Defeated Team G!
Bought Pokeballs and Potions.
Got thru Eterna Forest.
Got to Eterna City, and Met Cynthia (Hey my niece is in this game!).
Got Cut.
Caught a Chingling, Quirky nature. Male.
Battled more.
Went into the cave for Training.
Caught a Cleffa in Mt. Coronet, Naughty Natured Female.
Got explorer Kit.
Trained More. Pokemon all Between lvs 20-23.
Saved in Eterna City!

This Morning:
Got 2nd Badge.
Destoyed Team G again.
Got Bike and down we go.
Battled all trainers on road.
Off Bike and found Dawn and given Trainer rematcher.
Battled all the People over in that section.
Pokemon all Level 28-29.
Went into cave and met a Strange and Silly man.
Walked out and battled the more trainers.
Got a Berry reminder for Pokewatch.
Saved a little Girld Buneary from escaping.
Walked into Heartholme City.
Got Poffin Case.
Met Mom in Pokecontest center.
Fought Xander again.
Ran to route 209, defeated Trainers with ease.
Went into Solaceon Town.
Got more Pokewatch equipment.
Got into Unown caves met a few.
Given a Pokeball custom case.
Saved my adventure.
Continued onward to 210/215.
Battled more.
Luxio evolved to Luxray. 30
Tentacool to Tentacruel. 30
Cleffa almost ready to evolve. 32
Chingling still 1 heart. 33
Monferno at level 34.
Entered Veilstone City.
Defeated Gym leader with Chingling and Monferno.
Helped dawn out.
Saved game and took a Nap!

Afternoon Update:

Got Fly.
Trained more by rebattling old trainers.
Back to Hearthome city.
Went Underground. Got an Icicle Plate.
Went Down Route 212.
Monferno evolved into Infernape.
Cleffa evolved into Clefairy. @ 36.
gave Clefairy Water Pulse and Shock Wave.
Pokemon between Levels 39-40.
Got to Pastoria City.
Went to Safari/wetlands.
Caught a Skorpi and Wooper.
rebattled trainers.
Wooper Became a Quagsire.
Caught a Pikachu at the mansion.
Went back to Pastoria City.
Quagsire and Skorpi are Lv 36.
Took out the Gym leader with my Lv 42 Clefairy!
Trained Rebattled again.
All Pokemon except piakchu level 40-44.
Waiting for Nightfall to catch a Hoothoot.
Seen 80 pokemon so far.
Saved.

Pokemon team: Mothim, Goldeen, Happiny, Cleffa, Turtwig

I was really busy today. The only thing I did was enter a Cute Contest with Mothim. It did so awesome in the first two rounds, it barely needed any points in the last round but scored high anyway. It started off using Protect, then dazzled the judges with its Hidden Power move and a subsequent Tackle attack. Mothim finished with Protect. Score my first Normal-rank Cute Ribbon!

June 20, 2007

A friend of mine lent me his Chimchar named Claudia. I left it at the Day-Care Center with my Pachirisu to.... uh, relax. I took a stroll through Amnity Square with Happiny, then came back to the Day-Care to pick up the pokemon and also receive an egg. I sent Claudia back to its trainer and thanked him, because a short while later the egg hatched into my very own Chimchar!

Now with 6 pokemon on my team, I decided to start making my way towards Veilstone. How long has it been since my last badge? Feels like a year. There was a pokemon breeder I met on Route 210 who challenged me to a 3-on-3 battle. Mothim and Goldeen handled Cleffa and Clefairy with few problems, then her last pokemon was a Happiny. I figured "why not?" and sent out my own Happiny to battle it. My Happiny struggled a bit, but shook off confusion from a Sweet Kiss attack to evetually win the battle. And, in addition, evolve into Chansey!

Went bck into Safari, Caught a male Roselia.
Trained towards the resturaunt area.
Rebattled people.
Both Pikachu and Roselia are 35.
Saved in Hearthome city.
DS has to recharge.
 
Ive just been training up my pokemon not ready for the Elite 4.
My pokemon team is:

Pokemon Diamond: Currently, my Sinnoh Pokedex has 150/150 (got Palkia on GTS for Infernape); My National Pokedex is at 396/371; My time is 230:50; My Starter team are currently as follows: Luxray 74, Staraptor 73, Roserade 73, Rapidash 73, and Empoleon 72; Currently hatching for a female Shiny Ralts; and thanks to both TwilightBlade and Blue Latios I got two special Pokemon (thanks you guys). And that is my adventure so far.

Wow, seems like a more interesting name for an RHT. Where to start?
Well firstly:
I have been battling some more lately and have got my win/loss record to 139/10. Breeding yet again and got a Houndoom with 31 sp.atk IV/31 sp.def/30 speed. Named it ONIMITSU. Entered a tournament hosted by rival team Elite Purge this friday although not sure I can make it. :( Started a streak at the tower again at 4 am so I got to 14 and went to sleep lol. My team has a match this friday too although I opted out of entering as I may have plans that clash with the match and the tournament. Also partnered up with Krob from Elite Purge last night and decimated two people that challenged us last night, the first guy I faced had 3 ubers and all hacked pokemon and I 6-0'd the second guy. Well that's about all anyway.

Last night I began training again. Caught a hoothoot, Remoraid, and Murkrow trained Hoothoot and Remoraid to evolve them. Chingling evolved as well. Went underground and found the stones to evolve Clefairy and Pikachu. Then Skorpi evolved to Drapion.

This morning early early morning! Caught a Ponyta and trained it to evolve into a Rapidash. Raichu up to level 41 as well. Then caught a Skunky near wayward cave, caught Zubat, Bronzor and Grible in wayward cave. Then Caught a Finneon as well. used my AR to only quick level up the ones I caught, this morning evolutions a plenty!

Have 3 teams, going for 4 teams.

Team 1 contains Garchomp, Raichu, Tentacruel, Infernape, Chimecho and Noctowl.

Team 2 contains Luxray, Quagsire, Drapion, Roselia, Rapidash, and Murkrow.

Team 3 contains Bronzong, Golbat, Skunktank, Clefable, Egg and Octillery.

Team 4 conatians Lumineon.

Seen 109 pokemon so far, get to defeat the 5th and 6th gyms today as well.


Afternoon Update:

Defeated the 5th Gym leader and then the 6th gym leader.
Trained my pokemon up to 45-52. While Surfing, Rebattling, and Gyms.
Went to Steel mt. got my egg and its on my team. (Minus Chimecho)
Gave my top 6 pokemon nicknames.
Pokedex - 117 (14:56)

Raichu became Elektra - 50
Tentacruel became Gyojin - 52
Chimecho becaome Neo - 50
Noctowl became Hunter - 51
Infernape became Magma - 51
Garchomp became Sniper - 49

Update/Update 5pm

Been searching for pokemon I missed to add to the Dex. Battled my way thru Team G.
Went up the Cold cold cold...very cold mountain!
Trained and trying to get my egg to hatch!
Defeated Gym Leader with Gyojin and Magma.
Have to take on Team G in there Fortress afterwards.
126 for the Dex. The Rest are up V.R, E4, Rival, and Legends!

I defeated Team G in there HQs, and then the Mt. I captured Daglia in a Ultra ball, 2nd shot.
Took out the trainers on Sunny Shore, then defeated the 8th gym.
Egg hatched on my way up to V.R.
Went into V.R. and defeated it with ease.
Defeated my Rival, and went to Catch Uxie, Azelf and Mespirt.
Saw 144 pokemon in total so far.

Took on Elite 4 defeated each of them with my team.
Defeated Cynthia.
Pokemon Team Levels 65-67.
Seen 149 at the end of the game.
Saved itself.

Got out and went up to see picture of last pokemon.
150! Got Upgrades and National dex.
Set sail and met up ith Rival, got a Super Rod and Saved the game.

This morning set out to search for pokemon for pokedex.
Got and Eevee in Hearthome. And Dawns little sister is Helpful with info on where pokemon are!
Saved and updated this info!
