    Hi All!

I'm just starting to put together a Skarloom team, and wanted to know how people might do this different?

    I currently have:

    1) Skarmory: Spiker
    2) Breloom: antiSpikes/Sweaper
    3) Kingdra: antiBlissey/Sniper
    4) Scizor: sweeper
    5) Garchomp: sweeper
    6) Shedinja: BPer

For example, one thought was to reSpec Scizor as a BPer...

Also, I'm not so interested in changing the players here, unless someone has some serious concerns, but I would be very interested in any thoughts around Trait, Ability, EVs, Nature, and Moves to compensate for the obvious holes that any team has.

Additionally, there may be some obvious errors in EVs/Abilities/Traits, etc. Feel free to to point them out, you won't hurt my feelings, I have thick fat.

And, if you have any thoughts on the most likely counters I'll face with this, I'd love to know today and not have to find them out on the Battle mat.

    Thanks for your help!

    -Mahji

Ninjask is better at Baton Passing than Shedinja, since it get you a lot of extra Speed from Speed Boost.

Also, Adamant raises Attack and lowers Special Attack.

Umm how will Skamrory be an effective Spiker without Whirlwind or even Roar?

For Ninjask go with a Jolly nature. Keep Scizor as a sweeper.

Kingdra isn't strong enough to be an anti-Blissey pokemon.

Kingdra isn't strong enough for anything, really...

Actually it depends on how you make it. With a Modeat nature and max EVs in Special Attack along with a Rain Dance it's a monster.

I was referring to it's Stats; there's nothing there particularly good without help, like you mentioned.

Well yeah. It feel from grace (along with Mew to some extent) when they introduced EVs. I remember when everyone had trouble battling Clair's back in G/S/C/.

I taught my Garaydos Twister and I didn't have a problem at all.

As you said. Kingdra with Rain Dance and a Modest nature with it's best stats. It can be quite the best aganist Physical Walls. But against Special Walls like Blissey is it's major flaws.

I thought about Ninjask, but needed something to counter 'Fighting Types' Not sure if switching Ninjask to Shedinja, was the best way to fill this gap, but would be open to suggestions...

Ah, ok so which attack would you replace?

    -Mahji

Personally which do you like better? Stealth Rock or Spies? Take out the one you dont like for Whirlwind. (or at least Roar)

Ok, so assume, I got Kingdra to where it needs to be with EVs, and its not bad against Physical Walls.....

Does the team need an AntiBlissey? Is there something I can tweak, or do I need to swap somebody out?

    -Mahji

Blissey can be killed by Fighting-type attacks fairly easily, last I checked...but I dunno. An AntiBlissey would be nice though, since so many teams pack it.

Anyone have a suggestion? I kinda like Spikes, but I think the math goes to stealth rock....

bummer, gotta go for a few hours...

thanks for all your help so far!

Your Breloom should be good enough against Blissey. I would not say that your team really needs a anti-Blissey. I was implying Kingdra isn't one. But your team should do very well. Also not good to double post...
