Every time I try to battle an NPC this weird "Skipping Battles" message keeps appearing, even in debug mode. What can I do to fix it? :(

did you have any pokemon in your party? the battle is automatically skipped if you don't have at least one pokemon with you

If it's what I'm thinking of, I've ran into this issue. Double check your trainer PBS file and make sure that it matches the name in the Conditional Branch for that battle. I've had this issue because the Rocket Grunt name didn't match because of a comma or space or the number being in the wrong spot.
