    Welcome to my new forum.I've been working on this game for awhile, but I just changed the story so I'll have to get some better resources,most I have.

    Story:
    You are a 12 year old going to junior high.You get to meet new friends,get picked on by bullies(unfortunetly),and even now deal with stuff at home.You also have to get to class on time and keep up with your grades,but you still get to hang out with your friends everyday.I'm still not sure how many school days it's going to be.Maybe if I get tons of free time,I'll make it all year!

    Feaures:
    Take on school bullies
    Go on vacation!(new!)
    Choose boy or girl
    Choose some classes
    Reccess
    (Maybe)choose name
    choose house(maybe)
    buy snacks and drinks at recess
    earn money buy doin stuff like paper delivery or helping someone out

    Altogether,this game is coming out pretty good!The main thing is school,but it's actually kind of like a Sims game.

    Feel free to post anything you think may help,like charsets,monsters,panoramas,and battle backgrounds.Right now,I had to restart,and I'm making monster pics of the bullies.

    I just realized I may have to make it one gender,because it'll take twice as long with it,but I'll try my hardest.

    No,I had to go back and delete allmost all of it with the new features and all.
     
    Because when I tried to put in new features,it just seemed way too plain.The maps weren't that good,I'm reusing them but modifying them.Could someone give me some sprites that you think may be good for the boy and girl?I need them with and without a backpack.If not the backpack part,I'll add that in.So far,I think the boy will have spiked hair,not sure for the girl.I'm still searching.
     
    For the charset and stuff I cant help you but go to the site RM2k/3 Site

    But if you need help non-graphics wise I can help you. In fact I had an idea of doing a game like this a while back.

    Wow!Thanks for the support everybody!I think I may have found a male character.But compared to other sprites,he's pretty tall,could anybody give me some other tall sprites for like the girl,students,and parents?I really need it.I don't really know how to do a naming system so could somebody help me?I may not do it.First,I'll probabally make the game with just the boy first,then go back and add the events with the girl.

    Oh,I just realized,since the male char. doesn't seem like he'd be picked on,I'll make him like the new kid or somthing.

    I found some Anime styled school characters but i'm already using them...
    Well I know one way you can make a gender choosing event & a name system!!!
     
    Sorry I haven't posted,I went on a short notice funeral pretty far away.Umm,could I at least see the charset?I'm gonna try to make my own and I need an idea.I found some but it's just not the kind I wanted.At least let me see them.I may also edit them.Please?
     
    Sorry to double post, but nobody said anything since yesterday!Well,I found some good charsets but lost them.I only found about half of them back.I'm using tall sprites for the characters because I found a bunch o tall people that look like they'd be about the right age.I think they're called NPCs.

    I also planned out the intro.It's all black and then you here the principal say, "Okay let's go over this again.Wait,what do you look like?My visions a bit fuzzy."Then you choose your character and go through the rest and it shows the priincipal's office.
     
    Okay, it's obvious that you knew you weren't supposed to double post, so why did you? You could have just edited your previous post.
     
    NPC means non-playable-characters.
    I personally am against double posting but I have done it.. My rule is that unless you have new information for the public then don't double post.
    And you don't just dp because no-one else has posted.
