Time for some random meme blog entry, and it features one of my fave Pokemon from Generation I (and the basis for the usernames of two PC users I talk to often) who is always blocking the path.
Yes, I'm talking about Snorlax!

There's something I loved about this sleeping hunk of a beast that hits like a train, he was OU for the first few generations, had an awesome movepool and is downright hilarious when you see the memes about him.
Especially this one, I love the whole joke they make out of "Snorlax blocks the path". He is known as "Kabigon" if you're familiar with the Japanese version of the games, and I never managed to train one myself until playing Black where I evolved one from the Munchlax I obtained in the trade in Undella Town. And I love that awesome stat spread, particularly towards Attack, Defense and Special Defense and he's the star of the infamous "Curselax" strategy seen in competitive battling.
Seriously, I like him better than even Pikachu. Do you think Snorlax was one of the most awesome Pokemon ever from the early days? Share it in the comments.
