Question: Small sound player for signatures?

I've seen some people somehow get their music player to be smaller, and I'd like to do that with mine. However, I have no idea how you do that.

Here's an example of what I'm looking for.

Seems to me this SHOULD be just a simple workaround. Perhaps either some sort of addon value to the sound tag or some sort of CSS hack to hide most of it without technically shrinking it.
