Smeargle Movesets

since u cant fenergy 2x, use cant get lansat and fenergy on the same pokemon (i tried it w/ smeargle holding lansat and using fenergy, but after i used fenergy, lansat didnt work). so u can however, bp 1 fenergy to a poke w/ scope lens on, and w/ a move like slash, also ninjask cannot use/learn fenergy.
 
O well. But I still like the idea of BPing to a Critiken.
 
its still not very common, i remember bp fenergy to my (in my ch team, which i deleted cuz it wasnt so good) sceptile while holding scope lens and it using leaf blade and it wasnt even that common at all, i actually got more chs from dclaw than lblade. same w/ zangoose/linoone using slash, i actually got more chs W/O fenergy bped to them than w/.
 
We are kinda getting off topic eh? Any more Smeargles? Id hate to think this thread is dieing, I just hope it lasts until Diamond and Pearl are released.

Which is what's happened here, there is only so much Smeargle can do due to his low stats.

His main purpose is Spore.
 
Smeargle @ Stat Berry (Most likely Salac)

Spore OR Acid Armor OR Amnesia/Endure/Swords Dance OR Tail Glow/Agility

Soley for the purpose of powering up another poke. Any combo of Agility/Acid Armor/Tail Glow/Amnesia/Swords Dance/etc with Endure really.
 
Mach Puncher comes along and OHKO's Smeargle.
 
Like Swords Dancing Breloom with a Lum Berry.

Smeargle cant Spore, Breloom Spores.

Breloom Dances a few times and Mach Punches entire team.

I'm at school, so can someone check how high Smeargles Attack actually gets, could he make any use of an Attack?
 
556 with max atack evs, and 410 speed after salac with 252 evs speed, and a jolly nature (+speed nature, - sp a )

Mence reaches 606 with only one boost
 
I guess he is to weak to make use of learning all moves in the game.

IIRC, Arcanine gets 595 with a CB...

1 ES, and Smeargle's down.
 
That's kind of takes the element of surprise away.Your opponent knows Arcy will ES
so they will take Smeargle out.Same with Ninjask.They switch in Sala,Arcy uses Toxic,
and they will be like "WTF?"Because its unexpected,so you got in a free Toxic.If they
switch in Meta,Arcy uses Overheat.
 
Lol go CBFacadeSwellow, still, an ES might put a big dent in it.
 
i like raticate b/c its so Uu, no1 knows it has guts. i only surprise my opponent when i battle a weezing, they w-o-w rat, i sweep even faster with (instead of 430 attack), 645 attack or so. also, raticate is stronger than ppl think: with a attack nature and max attack evs, it has nearly same attack as cb stantler. (raticate can be very fast if u give it speed nature as well) *322 max speed* still semi-high attack w/ cb.

also for smeargle: its attack is lower than sals, yes, but w/ the move flail, it makes up for that w/ 300 base damage. the strongest move salemence can have is either hp flying for attack *105* or 120 base w/ dragon claw. les than 1/2 of flail.
smeargle: flail, spore, bdrum, sub/s ball.... its actually not too bad unless u r fighting a steel/rock type/ghost type
 
=P, isn't flail 210*1.5=315

but, point taken
 
also offtopic a bit, focus energy/lansat berry cannot be hazed. its actually under the stats section and says under the ffect, same place as if u were confused, etc.
 
Lol cool. Technically CH Ratio is a stat but I guess haze only covers 'main' stats. You kno, Atk, Def, Spd, etc etc. I just thought of something. Haze should make a Transformed pokemon go back to its original form hey? XD
 
ya but it relies solely on boosts, i was thinking haze should affect guts too, or maybe even thick club/cband... also does lucky punch and stick work better than scope lens? (a stick that only helps farfetchd raise ch ratio, and a punching item that raises only chansey/blissey's ch ratio)
 
i thought lucky punch only works for chansey IIRC?
anyway how bout a haxsey with lucky punch and serene grace =D

to stay on topic,flailing smeargle looks nice

Trait: Own Tempo
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SDef / 4 Spd
Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
- Mean Look
- Encore
- Baton Pass
- Substitute


Trap, put up sub, encore surf/f-thrower/t-bolt, BP to Jolteon/Vappy/Houndoom. Need to be good at predidcting, but it COULD work.....
