Basically, I've seen Smeargle very rarely, but I love to use the Pokemon myself. I was wondering what sets other people find viable on Smeargle.

This is what I usually run:

    Smeargle @ Focus Sash
    Hasty
    252 HP, 252 Spd, 4 Atk
    Counter
    Mirror Coat
    Endeavor
    Quick Attack

Basically, this is my lead. Usually, I find people use a sweeper that is rather predictable as their lead. So I use Counter or Mirror Coat, depending on the Pokemon, and usually I predict correctly. If it's something I know is usually a mixed sweeper (such as Swampert or Infernape, and most people I know use MixMence) I switch to a different Pokemon to counter it. And if it can survive a second round against a Pokemon, I use Endeavor. And, although very rarely, I get a third round, I quick attack. I find it fun to switch in on a n00b's Blissey, which usually forgets to pack toxic, and endeavor it to 1 HP.

    Wow, that was rather long.

    My second set:

    Smeargle@Focus Sash
    252 HP, 128 Def, 128 Sp Def
    Spore/Dark Void
    Spikes/Stealth Rock/Leech Seed
    Recycle
    Recover

This is a more risky set, one which I usually only run if I know the team I'm facing, and thus the nature I should have (whether to boost Def or Sp Def). Even with the raised stats, it can still be crushed in one hit, hence the Focus Sash. Spore for Single battles, and some Double battles, and Dark Void for double battles. I can sometimes set up with but I usually have Stealth Rock or Leech Seed. And sometimes I can restore myself to full health and Recycle the Focus Sash.

So, what do you usually run, or think would be effective?

(OT: Man, that took long to type.)
