Do the doors blocked by maids serve any purpose or go anywhere? They never seem to move, and there's nothing beyond them on the outside of the map that looks like a room is there... What would be the purpose in making useless warp areas?

The doors are fakes, just there for show. No need to worry about them :)

The dev probobly didn't bother designing the rest of the mansion because the most important area is the garden.

Yes.... but what if they actually DO serve a purpose or hold some great secret. Something that is really puzzling is this topic. How can you be sure that nothing is behind there? Only nintendo really know the answer

You know, if we're lucky, they might serve a purpose in Platinum.

But, as of DP, their only purpose is to arouse our suspisions.

There COULDN'T be anything there. It's not in the game's code.

the doors guarded are just for decoration. It says so in the pokemon guide book for D/P

We stopped talking about the DP doors a long time ago. Now we're speculating whether they'll be utilized in Platinum.

Yes, D/P doors is not the discussion. The Platinum door is what puzzles us. I live in the US so it won't come out 'till sometime 2009.. So I hope they serve a purpose in Platinum. Oh and here's something else:
WHAT IF THE TROPHY GARDEN WAS EXPANDED IN PLATINUM WITH MORE POKEMON TO CATCH?!
