    Anyone that already have an Hotmail or Live email address can try it out immediately - and consider whether to make a new alias with @outlook.com, or change the address entirely.

    You can also take a look at the new Outlook.com even though you're not a Hotmail or Live user.

    What do you guys think of it? I had enough of the old interface, and I find the new interface to be a refreshing thing to have.
     
    I've had enough of the old interface too, and I'm glad the microsoft is finally updating it's branding since it'd gone out of date a long time ago, but I still feel that it looks horrible.It's heading in the right direction since solid colour is the new thing, but no design should have that much white in it.
    Honestly it isn't just the white, it's the fact that they have stuck with the black text on a white background. I'm really struggling to read the large blocks of text. I'd expect such a big company to at least have another complete colour scheme, instead of just letting you chose between white and red or white and teal.

    Overall I think it looks pretty nice, but it's nowhere near finished yet.
     
    I like that it still has the same general layout as before, while making things a lot simpler. It will take a little bit of getting used to, but overall it should be okay.

    I also suggest that people try and claim a new e-mail account soon if they want an @outlook.com address. Only about 10,000 people have signed up so far, so you would be better off to try to get an e-mail like yourname1 @outlook.com now rather than waiting for a while and be stuck with something like yourname62910 @outlook.com.
     
    Whoa! I really like the interface on this, and I love how it's just the mail with nothing else (other than ads) taking up any space on the page!

    Though, I won't be using it... Managed to nab [email protected], though so that's cool!
