So I have been searching everywhere for an answer to this question and have found zip zero zilch in the way of answers regarding this! I do have pokemon Diamond, Heart Gold, Soul Silver, Black and white and Omega Saphire! I can't afford to get x or y because right now I have to save my cash to pay off the Collectors edition Strategy Guide, Pokemon Sun and whats left of the Limited edition New 3DS XL since I am still on an original 1st Gen 3ds. I have finished paying off pokemon moon and around 1/3rd of the 3ds and just have preorder amounts on teh other 2.
But I just need to know if this is possible to finish the National Dex with these games?? Yes I won't be able to do it till I have my 2nd DS and right now I am still reseting trying to get a shiny starter treeko and then want to reset to get the other 2 starters as shiny too and want to transfer them to the pokebank to allow me to do this! Know this may make it impossible to do with future starters after you have finished the game through once but still what can you do!
Also as of right now well when I was playing and got to gym badge 5 before deciding on a reset to go for a shiny starter I couldn't get a single DEX nav chain to stick to get shiny pokemon as I want shinies over normal more. But still guess its only time and practice. I also only just came back when the shaymin 20th year anniversary promotion was on so missed out on the other ones before this too! And am hoping my local EBGames has Arceaus as I live in a regional city and have been told all stores will have it but sometimes this isn't the case so depending may miss out on that too :(
But yes any help with the National Dex! Know it won't be happening anytime yet as still have to work through the game but just want to know if its possible for the future! Even if it means I do it in Sun and Moon as I don't plan to miss or skip anymore pokemon releases for this reason if I can avoid it.
