sadly I agree. a lot of people would abouse them and basically make them into weapons. but I don't think we'd all do that. I'm sure people would have them for pets and for the rarer pokemon, they'd be on reserves or something

If pokémon were real, surely we would have discovered pokéballs? However, if we hadn't, I agree with you - we'd be in serious trouble, and have to domesticate them for fear of the consequences.

Now that telekinesis doesnt exist a lot of pkmn wouldnt exist,anyway.Like the almighty Psyduck.Ghost pokemon wouldnt exist for the same reason.Fire type pkmn would have to have an improved skin.And fire and water type pokemon would carry little water and burning elements in their bodies.

here's a different one: suddenly? war, some people would make attempts at domesticating them, unwelcome attempts, others would try to destroy them, others to understand them, perhapes they would become the new dominant species of the planet, there you go^^

1) Make friends with Darkrai.
2) Kidnap Cresselia.
3) Make people pay for us to stop giving them nightmares.
4) Become filthy stinking rich.
5) Teach Darkrai substitute.
6) Using substitute, put decoys in California.
7) Live in a fancy mansion in the mountains while angry mobs destroy the decoys.
8) The end.
