    So yeah. Hey guys. So I'm new as you guys can see and I came because I was hoping to learn more about competitive battling (or at least I assume you guys must do that considering this is a pokemon forum). I also play other games like Smash, CoD, GoW, etc.


    ...yeah I suck at intros so hey

    I can guarantee you will learn a lot about competitive battling here at PC. However, since the metagame's going through a lot of changes with generation V, it might be a while before there's much to learn, cause even the competitive buffs are having to relearn some things. But even still, you'll learn a good bit. I know I did, and I wasn't even trying.

    We also have a great video gaming section where you can discuss those non-Pokemon games you're diggin'. And fyi, this is one of the better intros I've seen in a while. Most people are just like "hi im new idk what to say lolol" so at least you told us something about yourself. ;)

    Tbh, I'm no noob per se where I know nothing about EVs and IVs since I've been doing this for a year, but I'm pretty bad at this. I can make the shittiest decisions at times. Its fun though and I enjoy battling. I'm pretty psyched about gen V. I already have like 2 teams I've built (one of them centering around Politoed and his new Drizzle ability lol)


    And alright, I'll check out the video gaming section as well.


    Btw, I'm also a spriter. If I want to showcase some sprites or get people to ask me for some, where could I go to do that?

    You may wanna check out the Pixel Art board over in the Art Gallery. Once you get yourself 15 posts, you'll be able to provide links to your sprites and share them with the rest of our more artistic members. As for me, I'm lucky to use the circle tool correctly on MSPaint. BD

    Mhmm, you'll certainly learn a thing or two about competitive battling around here as well. Good to hear you've got experience though, as most of the veteran battlers aren't the friendliest. :x But hey, the best of the best around here love newbies, so don't sweat it too much, k?
