Guide: So you want to make a ROM hack?

Is there a guide on making and inserting tilesets? I try to use this one thelegacyv2.weebly.com/the-tile-insertion-tutorial.html and wasn't able to.

how did everything turn out with the computer crash? you thought process and planning is amazing!
