So you're a trainer... (another hypothetical question)

    So you're a trainer in the pokemon universe, more specifically the game. From the perspective of your opponent, what music plays when they battle you? For example, when you battle Blue it plays that intense champion music, or when you battle Team Galactic, their music plays. Likewise with pokemon, the Legendary dogs have their own theme, etc.

    What would your theme music be when confronted by another trainer in a battle (music that they would hear)?
     
    I would like to think that the music from your rival battle in the second generation would play.

    I always loved the semi-dramatic music that played at that time. It gave you a sense of urgency, yet it's not too important if you lose. Unlike the giant dramatical ballad that is played while battling the Champion. ;D

    @Hiidoran - Yeah, that tune's excellent. I've got it hardwired in the recesses of my mind and sometimes I'll find myself whistling it.

    The music when you face Lance in GSC is pretty epic, but it might be a tad bit arrogant to assume that one to myself... as much as I'd like to think it's fitting.

    Myself? Right now, I'm thinking the music that plays when you encounter the legendary dogs. Not overly epic but just right.

    Keep in mind that your choice isn't necessarily restricted to 'battle' music... I think it would be cool if a trainer encountered me and the music from the Pokemon Mansion on Cinnibar Island played. Dementedly eerie.
     
    "Imperial Fleet" by Richard Jacques, battle theme of the IJN in Battlestations Midway.

    If however the choice is restricted to Pokemon game music, as it appears to be, I'd have the Bellsprout Tower theme. :0

    The music when you battle the champion in LeafGreen, it's awesome. That's the only reason I still battle the champion :D.

    They'd be like "Huh?" And I'd like "Yeah..."
    Seriously, it's my favourite music in the games.
     
    I've always liked the Elite 4 music from LeafGreen, so I guess I'd pick that. Or maybe the music that plays outside Victory Road.
     
    From Pokemon Pearl, either the music that plays right before you battle a Couple/Worker or the Ace music. :D
     
    The boss battle theme from Secret of Mana. That song makes anything sound epic. Especially Kirkington Fox's remix.
     
    Solaris Phase 2 - Sonic the Hedgehog. This music is ****ing epic.
