The group closing is a wrong decision. They are the best part about this site. It's kind of like a family or a small, digital town. And If they're gone, its like they took community out of pokecommunity.
If you want to keep the Social Groups, post your user name and the reason you think they should stay.

I'm sorry guys, but this really isn't up for debate. Particularly after the length of time we spent discussing the situation, including who it would affect and how. Sometimes decisions are made that not everyone likes, it happens, but you need to look past it and move on, making the best of what you have. We realized some people wouldn't like it, but unfortunately we can't cater to everyone's needs and wants. It's just unreasonable to expect this of us because you're in the negative in this particular case. There might come a time where you like a decision and another group doesn't. Would it be fair to reverse it because the other group disagreed?

Also, we are looking at other ways to use social groups, it's not as if the system will be completely abolished.
