I have no clue why this one's happening. The game always freezes (but music continues normally) right at the first shake of the pokeball. It happens everywhere, with all pokemon. Any ideas?

I caught a pokemon that's included in the normal game and is undedited in any way, on an original, unedited route. I also have not edited anything related to catching pokemon or any asm or original code whatsoever. I added a few (well, actually a lot) maps and dialog scripts so far and that's about it.

I meticulously do everything besides mapping in hex directly... unless advance map just fucked up at some point, I don't understand what I could have done to cause this.

maybe the 'automatically look for offsets' was unticked in a-map.
