Solarys' l33t BRAIN TEASERS!!!

sabley is strong against mew strong against machoke strong against nosepass...etc =P

sableye is good against mew (dark > psychic)
mew is good against machoke (psychic > fighting)
machoke is good against nosepass (fighting > rock)
nosepass is good against entei (rock > fire)
entei is good against regice (fire > ice)

I think that's the second pattern

EDIT: Darn, grandadvanceshipper already said it.

LOL you got the first obvious part right. but the real pattern is like this:

every pokemon in the list is WEAK to the one BELOW, and RESISTANT to the one ABOVE. And each pokemon represent its TYPE(S).

That's why nothing sensible goes in front of Regice (Ice), because ice is only resistant to itself, and nothing can go after Sableye, because it has no weakness.

***Question #4 is coming soon :)***

OK, question #4 here:

It's a fun one, and it might require some thinking, also it might not :)

OK, imagine there is a evolution machine that increases the evolution level of any Pokemon that enters by 1, e.g. if a Ralts enters, it becomes a Kirlia.

Here's the question:
3 different Pokemon with a total of 3 legs entered. When they came out, they all had the same number of legs. If a "leg" is defined as something a Pokemon stands on, and given that one of the Pokemon entered was a Gloom, then what were the other 2 that came out?

Choose one of these answers and say WHY you've chosen it:

a. Dragonite and Porygon2
b. Dusclops and Grumpig
c. Kadabra and Banette
d. Claydol and Shedinja
e. Dugtrio and Magneton

Hint: Consider the branched evolution.

The answer is E, Dugtrio and Magneton
It says that it goes up by one, and gloom has 2 legs.. And Magneton has 3 heads [3 being one more than the 2 legs gloom has] and the same occurs for Dugtrio

and for the question about the pattern, where the answer was nosepass, the answer could've been a 4 letter pokemon, As if you count the number of letters in each, it goes up by 1 except for the missing one :)

I think the answer is B. Dusclops and Grumpig.

Clue #1:It says that the pokemon that went in has a total of 3 legs. Gloom has 2 legs which means that there could only be 1 more leg left.

Shuppet, the unevolved form of Dusclops, has 0 legs and Spoink, the unevolved form of Grumpig has 1 leg(a "leg" is considered as something the pokemon stands on and Spoink stands on a spring). So 2+0+1= 3 LEGS TOTAL that went in.

Clue #2: The Pokemon that came out had to have the same number of legs as Vileplume, the evolved form of the Gloom that went in. Vileplume has 2 legs so the other 2 pokemon must have the same number of legs. Dusclops and Dragonite both have 2 legs too, so it must be them.

Aren't I so descriptive. XD

B is right, just pointing out a few things: DUSKULL evolves into Dusclops, not Shuppet. And option B is Dusclops and GRUMPIG not Dragonite.

Anyhow, got to give you credits for your explanation :D

Question #5 is coming soon... (Below this line: )

************************************************************

Here comes question #5:

Be warned: THIS IS HARD!!!
(It's going to seem very random to some of you, but you'll eventually figure it out, lol...)

It's another GROUPING question.

Again, which of the following Pokemon do(es) not fit into the group:

1 - Octillery
7 - Seedot
14 - Feebas
1,000,000 - Meowth
9 - Persian
2 - Tauros
100 - Houndoom
11 - Kirlia
1,000,000,000 - Blastoise

Choose one of these answers and say WHY you've chosen it:

a. 9 and 11
b. 1,000,000,000 only
c. 100, 1,000,000 and 1,000,000,000
d. 1 and 2
e. None of them

Hint: Focus on their names instead of their species!

d. 1 and 2

1 - Octillery
7 - [See]dot
14 - [Fee]bas
1,000,000 - [Meow]th
9 - [Per]sian
2 - Tauros
100 - [Hound]oom
11 - [Kirl]ia
1,000,000,000 - ]Blast]oise

all the words in [] are real words and octillery and tauros dont have reall words in their name and oct is not really a word it is used for a word

Easy, 9 and 11. The rest of the Pokémons' first letter matches the first letters of the number before them

ROFL you got it... (it can't get any lamer, can it? :P)

Anyhow I was bored to hell when i came up with that random lame one - i'll come up with better ones later 2nite (NZ time of course :))

It will be below this line:

***************************************************

Quesion #6 is up:

Figure this out:

Given that
0112011101260113 = Alakazam, and
11010401021801 = Kadabra

Then
070118040522150918 = ?????

Choose one of the following and say WHY you've chosen it:

a. Abra
b. Remoraid
c. Sandslash
d. Granbull
e. Gardevoir

Hint: No hint available for this question.

I think u get the point now!!!So 07=G o1=a..I didnt have to do the rest cos Gardevoir ish the only pokemon their that shartsh with Ga!

OK, question #7 is up - it's not that lame :)

If we call every horn and tail on a Pokemon a leg, then how many legs, in total, do a Tauros and a Ninetales have?

a. 14
b. 18
c. 22
d. 8
e. 9

Hint: Read the first part of the question again.

C, 22. Tauros has two horns, four legs and three tails, and Ninetales has four legs and nine tails. 2 + 4 + 3 = 9 + 9 = 18 + 4 = 22.

I think the answer is A. 14

Tauros has 2 horns and 3 tails and Ninetales has 9 tails= 14 "LEGS". The question never said that a real leg was a leg. So that means the four legs on Tauros and Ninetales don't count.

if i had gotten here erlier i could have said that!-_-

C. 8, of course *bangs his head against the wall* horns and tails can be called whatever you want them to be called, but that doesn't make them legs

It Would Be A-14....Cause Ninetales has 9tales...Tauro Has 3 tales and 2 horn's

9+3+2=14
