Some funny or clever nicknames

What are some nicknames for pokemon you caught that you thought were just clever, or worked so well with the pokemon that it was just funny...

I always catch a Gastly and name it "Pooter"
Also I always for some reason name my fire starter (if I choose the fire one) Peanut
I get a Bellsprout and name it Leif

I dont like duskull but If I caught one and used it I would name it Grim

its pretty lame and everyone probably knows it, but on my last playthrough of silver i named my slowpoke speedy

    I named my Charizard Pyro/Pyra... o.O
And, like everyone else, I named my Gengar Nightmare.

I let my brother go on my sapphire game for a while and he caught a really high level Walrein and he asked if he could name it. I didn't really mind what it was called so I let him. But he ended up calling it a really rude name and I did mind. So I couldn't really use that pokemon.
Also on Sapphire I got Torchic as a starter and called it Cosette. I had just seen Les Miserables.

    Ditto to you Gale.
And sometimes I name them with cool nicknames.
So like my Sharpedo is: "SharkyFangzz" Lol.
    They're very unimaginative nicknames.

I gave my Tropius the name, Tropicana like the drink or Numel the name Ah-Nu-Nu

but other then that I gave my Pokemon Japanese names or nicknames of the Japanese names

    :t354:TG

Well, I would be mean and breed boys of Pokemon others would want and trade them over Wi-Fi's GTS. I would name them terrible names and make sure they're boys so they can't breed them unless they have a Ditto or another Turtwig. xD I am mean, but I loved it.
I can't even tell you the names for these Turtwigs because this is a kids site. xD

I nicknamed my Blaziken in Emerald 'Colonel', as in Colonel Sanders, the KFC guy. Sounds cool and has a good pun, so I like it. I also called my Breloom in that game 'Sylvester' since Breloom's like a boxer and Sylvester Stallone played Rocky...

Finally, I'm going to name my Torterra "Terrapine" since it's what I originally thought its English name was going to be, and it's a rare triple pun. (Terra=earth, pine=trees, terrapin=scientific term for turtles)

    I called my Psyduck, Peking...

Get it?... Cause um... It's like... Peking Duck.... Er.... Yeah....

    :D

I think everyone's used 'God' as a nickname at least once whilst playing a Pokemon game, just to see the message: 'God is evolving!' XD

Most of the 'amusing' nicknames I've come up with are actually pretty lame. 'Numa Numa' for a Numel, for example.

    Let's see, my Pokemon nicknames...

Arcanine- Schneider, after the orange-armored Liger Zero in Zoids. Liger Zero Schneider's signature move was also oddly similar to ExtremeSpeed.

Claydol- Pompeii, after the ancient ruins of the Roman city. They have actually found clay dolls in Pompeii, so...

Xatu- Chozo, after the psychokinetic bird aliens in Metroid.

Magnezone/Electrode- Voltech, a combination of "voltage" and "technology"

    Tentacruel- Medusa, pretty straightforward.

Dusknoir- Eidolon, as "eidolon" is another word for a ghost.

Gliscor- Jaeger; after naming Arcanine Schneider, I wanted to have a Jaeger and Panzer on my team. Since my Gliscor was by no means a tank, I chose Jaeger.

Bronzong- Panzer, 'cause it's a tank.

Lugia- Ruhiel, after a purple-and-white Lightning Sky robo from the Custom Robo series.

Marowak (female)- GHOST. Do I need to explain this one?

Porygon-Z- uberhax.exe. Do I need to explain this one?

Metagross- Quadraxis, after the four-legged mech boss in Metroid Prime 2: Echoes.

A Mudkip was named 'Winter', since that was when I started my game.

I gave that same nickname to my Leafeon!
    I also have:

-An Electrode named Pokeball (I laugh when it comes out in battle--"Go! Pokeball!")
    -A Pinsir named OUCH!!
    -A Koffing named Cigarette
    -A Grumpig named Miss Piggy
-Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf named Zelda, Ganondorf, and Link, respectively. The three reminded me of the Triforce when they stopped Dialga/Palkia from destroying all existence.
-A Ditto named Nympho (because I often use it for breeding)
-An Espeon named Akamaru (They look sorta similar, don't they...?)
-A Swampert named Skippy (I named him so because of the fact that he's a mudskipper, but it's funny because it also happens to be a brand of peanut butter)
-Plusle and Minun named Ami and Yumi (the J-pop duo Puffy)
-Gallade and Gardevoir named Arthur and Guinevere
-An Azumarill named Bob (because his tail bobs up and down in the water)

Umm... i usually just write the first thing that pops up in my head(even since, if it's a Pokémon i'll be using in my team i think a little first...) like:

    Palkia = Gandalf
    Luxray = Bryngelsson(the pipe-man in my house)
Infernape = Greve Olaf(The villain in a book i just read, "greve" means "lord" in swedish)
Roserade = Monalisa(the painting... i just thought Budew looked like a Monalisa)
Sudowoodo = Milan(The guy in my school who goes around in the computer room and check so no one porn-surfs, and says he's gonna kill everyone)
Milotic = FLORFELO(PalParked from my Ruby BattleTower Team)
Pikachu = Pikapain(James in the anime...)
