Some questions for XD and Colosseum

Hello I recently bought Pokemon XD and Colosseum and have been playing these wonderful games and I am having lots of fun anyway back to the point here are the questions I want to ask.

-Colosseum Related Questions
1. What should my Pokemon Team be for this game. I already know the first two (Espeon and Umbreon lol) and was wondering what should the last 4 be. (I already know about the Johto starter thing where you fight a specific person in Phenec? I didn't know about this and snagged a Bayleaf so if you were going to suggest a Johto Starter Pokemon other than Bayleaf then I can't get Quilava or Crocnaw) But just make it I can snag these Pokemon before the final boss. Also please make sure they can eventually sweep the Mt battle thing to get Ho-Oh if that's not to much to ask. No Legendaries Please.

2.What are the quick ways to Purify Pokemon in Colosseum I know about the glitch about unplugging the controller I might try that later on in the game but I would really like to know.

1.Which Eeveelution(Evolution for Eevee) should I choose that can help me though the whole game.

2. Again which team should I get for this game that can also help me sweep through the Mt Battle thing or Stadiums etc. etc. basically the whole game so I can still have fun :) No Legendaries Please.

-Also please take not that I don't have access to the GBA to GC Link Cable so I need to keep these strictly in game to XD and Colosseum I might get one later on Ebay but it all depends on whether I feel like it. And I also know that I'm thinking far ahead but it would be good for me to write all your suggestions down so I can play the game without forgetting all this lol.

so sorry but that glitch doent work its only for colloseum. but i chose vaporeon and it did me well. but there are SO MANY ENEMYS WITH WATER AND FLYING TYPES so i would reccomend using jolteon. my team in XD using a link cable was Blastoise lv. 90 charizard lv. 80 charizard lv. 67 venusaur lv. 56 feraligatr lv. 31 and XD001(purified lugia).

using no link cable, for you i would use jolteon, ursaring, XD001, lapras, togetic, and houndoom. you get them all through the storyline, except or togepi, you need to talk to some dude in outskirt island. (really far in the game)
