Hi everybody, today I decided to shift from essentials to rom hacking. So I have some questions:-
1. What are the tools and softwares required for rom hacking?
2. Is it possible to add gen 3+ Pokemon in rom hacks?
3. What is the difference between Binary and ASM ?
4. Can features like z move, in battle m-evolution be added?

2. Is it possible to add gen 3+ Pokemon in rom hacks?
Yes, relatively easily.

3. What is the difference between Binary and ASM?
Binary is code read by machines [01011010] and ASM is one of the many ways humans read and study machine code.
In ROM hacking though, Binary hacking can be defined as utilizing a number of tools to edit a .GBA/.GBC file to get your desired results. ASM is a way to add custom features in your said ROM.

4. Can features like z move, in battle m-evolution be added?
Yes.
