Some rules are stupid

    Some of the rules on this forum are stupid. "Must have more than 20 unique species listed to open a trade shop" WTF? Way to greet a new member who just wants to trade. Geez.
     
    If you have an issue with the rules of the Trade Corner, you're more than welcome to PM one of the two moderators of that section and express your concerns and they can explain why it's there or, if they agree with your reasoning, change it. Moderators aren't unreasonable dictators and are here to make the user's experience as smooth as possible. In this case I believe that rule is to keep the entire first page from being spammed with tons of "I just need one Pokemon" threads, instead using the Quick Trade Thread.
     
    Every rule has a rhyme to its reason. Just imagine if you are a Shop owner and everyone was allowed to post their every trade need from a single pokemon, to items, to trade evolutions, to dex fillers. The shop would constantly be overshadowed by others topics. Kind of tuff to conduct business if your topic is out of view of the 1st page quite often. Not to mention every big Pokemon Forum has this sort of thread so we aren't doing this any different then the next place.
     
    I agree with some of the other posts.

    Every rule on PC is there for a reason.

    In the future, if you have complaints about a certain area just scroll down to the bottom of the area and find the names of the moderators. If you dislike a rule, then take it up with them. In this case, it's the Trade Corner, so you'd want to talk with either TwilightBlade or twistedpuppy.

    They should explain their reasons.


    This this is gonna close, on account of the fact that I don't want it turning into any argument or a fight, as it really doesn't need to. :/
