    Some sprites I've been splicing for an upcoming hack (updated).

    New here, figured I'd show these off a bit

    These are for a hack I'm working on. Mostly spliced from existing trainer sprites as I'm really not much of a master spriter or anything. If you wanna use these, I suppose you can, but at least let me know so I can check it out to satiate my curiosity. Just don't run around claiming em as your own and all that.

    lol they all look so... spotless. i can't tell where or how they've been spliced o.O

    well, of course, meaning to say that they're very well done. the quality of spriting is good.
     
    DUDE! Those are SWEET! You're a very good spriter. I like them. They look like real game sprites! Faves are the one of Flannery sitting, the girl with the guitar, and the girl beside her, in the red dress.

    That's all amazing, I love your skills. 1 comment is....work on your shading a bit. That professor Gary could use a bit work lol
     
    I like them I am a spriter myself two I diddnt know if it was okay to show them but I will open my own board for them but yours are really cool I like the girl in the red dress and the magma team girl with the poke ball (I think anyways)
     
    Thanks for making me realize that was the unfinished version. It'as actually supposed to be Imposter Oak from the card game, although the colors are very gary-esque.

    And yeah it probably needs a little work, but like 90% of the shading that is there is from the official sprite anyway. Plus you'll only see it once in the intro. I think it serves it's purpose.



    @sportznutz: perhaps, let me know a little about your hack and which you'd like to use, probably be fine though.
     
    Your trainer sprites are well done, and I especially love how you sprited Ashley. However, if there's one thing I must comment on, it would have to be some of the splicing. In your first batch, the lady Bug Catcher in the last row has a huge head/upper torso. either widen the lower half of her body to match the size of her upper body, or make the upper body smaller to match the lower. The first sprite in the third row has a funky leg. You could have extended her skit a bit more to cover that weird leg movement.

    I know, it's hard to splice with female trainers sometimes, as they have the strangest leg movements, but they're easily fixable.
     
    Agreed on both points. I'll look into tweaking them. Bugcatcher has a huge head as it's from a D/P sprite I think. Was one of my earlier ones.
     
    I want to live in this all female pkmn trainer world you've envisioned! Seriously, though, nice work. They look great!
