4th Gen Something Strange

    So I am a longtime Pokemon player, and I went through my Pearl and beat it. I went and bought myself a copy of Soul Silver. I go to transfer my pokes[What I refer to as Pokemon when I speak even normally] and their stats went up from the transfer it seems. It scares me so because I think now they look extremely hacked because the EV's are how I've had them but the stats are higher in this game. I'm kind of afraid to use them in battles on here[if I ever get to them] and well, I frankly don't know what to do, because all of these pokes are my "battle team" as I know them. Should I be worried?
     
    ...the stats went up? Huh. Probably just the EVs not yet converted to stat boostsis my guess (because that only happens for sure in normal circumstances when it's level 100) being applied then, I suppose. In which case there's nothing to worry about with it. =P Trading to HGSS should have no effect on the stats being miscalculated though (runs on the same game mechanics as Platinum after all).

    Of course, you can check it with an IV/EV calculator (google it), although you may want to reduce the EV-stat boosts via certain berries to check that (that will lower the stats though and don't do that and save I suggest otherwise you'll have to train again =P), but I do doubt there's anything to worry about.
