Something that will make a Pokemon Sad...

What would you think make a Pokemon sad?

Just state a Pokemon, and something that would make it sad... :(

P.S. = Tears of Sorrow and Tears of Joy are not the same! :cer_cry:

Pikachu cries because its Ketchup was gone! :(

Pikachu cries because its Ketchup was gone! :(

Pikachu would not cry over not having ketchup. Pikachu would view the situation in a philosophical manner, understanding that the state of having or not having ketchup does not define his own actions i.e. he is not bound into sadness by a normally dismal situation. Pikachu would understand that his happiness is not determined by the haves or have nots of material desire, but by his perception of the world around him. Pikachu would not cry over a lack of ketchup.

As for the topic, turning Ash into stone. That gets some mon-tears flowing.

It depends on how we watch or see it...

Well, for another, taking a toy from a toddler Pokemon would make it sad.

Cubones mother getting murdered by Team Rocket. XD And I'd think Cubone's mother (aka. Marowak) would be pretty sad too, if it wasn't dead. ;)

Though, I'd think if a Pokemon couldn't find its owner, then it'd be sad. :(

Being a Sunkern could be a reason to be sad. Think about it - you, by the games, are the weakest Pokemon ever. By the dex, you defend youself by shaking your leaves at predators. Not much going for you, right? And there's not that much chance for Trainers to catch you - the best you'll ever be is a Sunflora. Heck, at least Magikarp can one day be a Gyarados, which is by far a more popular Pokemon, but not that many really dig the forgetable Sunflora, so getting someone to catch you and hence give you protection from the wild isn't likely.

Please, people. Think of the Sunkern.

Other stuff...umm let's see. Being a Shedinja on a Sandstorm team, for one...not getting fed (that'd make anyone upset, really)... being a Slowpoke nowhere near a water source (meaning no nearby Shelder = no way to evolve... although tbh, the Slowpokes probably don't mind that much, being slow and all -_-)...

omg, you're right. The best thing they have going for them is the Heart Scale.

If you only want to battle with i and not befriend it.

- Stealing a Heart Scale then releasing Luvdisc
- Using your Azumarill to defeat a gym leader then
trade it to some random by stander kid (Paul)
- Being in that porygon episode that gave some
500 kids seizures because everyone will hate you.
- Being Pikachu because you'll never get to evolve
- Being a ditto. You have no identity. Your identity
is everyone else's.
- Being Smeargle. You're an awfully good painter, but
no one gives a damn. They just care about sending you
out in battle to get crushed and obliterated by a move like
Leech Seed.
- Falling off a cliff when all your pokemon are looking
- keep them away from the Daycare Centre ;)
- Being a ditto who finds out the child that hatched out of
the egg never resembles her/himself.
- Bibarel. Never gets any spotlight in the battle field,
but is a slave when it comes to the actual field.
- Bidoof. You're scared of growing. You don't ever want
to become a Bibarel. Ever.
- Being Magikarp. You're waiting to evolve into gyarados
but it's completely impossible to train a Level 5 Splashtastic
Magikarp whom got purchased for $500 into an amazing
Gyarados.
- Being Feebas. You hate eating Beauty blocks OVER and
OVER and OVER and OVEr and OVer and Over and over and...
*10 hours later* and o...ver... ov..er... Penumbra fainted!
- Being a wild Silcoon, Cascoon, Metapod, or Kakuna. All you can
do is wait to die, and use Harden as a last-resort attempt to live.
- Being any legendary pokemon in the Anime. They forever wonder
this simple question: "Why didn't Ash catch me?" :(

Anyway that's all I could think of.
