    Okay me and my cousin did the thing where you get all starter pokemon and when his pokemon got to about lv.12 they sopped obeying him and he'd beaten Brock, and now my pokemon won't obey me, what's rong?
     
    First off, this is something that you should ask in the Simple Questions thread at the top.

    As for your question, Your Pokes that you get in a trade only obey you up to Lv10 until you get the second badge. Then I believe it is Lv30 until you get the fourth badge.
