So how does everyone feel about the new design for Sonic and his friends that was announced not too long ago? I was surprised not to see a thread already started on this. Considering Sonic's design has not been changed this drastically in years took me by surprise. I've been a huge Sonic fan all of my life and was just curious on what you guys thought.
I personally don't mind the new design changes. I mean yes, Knuckles looks REALLY weird to me but I understand why it was done. I guess they wanted to appeal to younger audiences (well at least to GameXplain which I love watching their reviews) but even still…Knuckles is the only person I don't really like the new design. Watching the gameplay trailer seemed to really enforce multiplayer which would be a nice change. Who knows if that will be the case.
My conclusion: I am quite excited for Sonic to be reborn. Even though I don't agree will all of the changes being done, I still feel the game (and the series) could really work.
