Let me explain in better detail. Gin is weak, physically. Thats why he create psychic blades from his mana. He gets up close and levitate them with force and throw them at his enemy, like a hail of kunai.

Sky was given the power to manipulate wind, this can range from simple flying and high speed movement, as well as concentrated torrents of wind, and a variety of other things. Possessing the wind attribute also has an affect on his fighting style in terms of his ferociousness and aggression. No mater the kind of senses you use, no one can truly predict how hard the wind will blow and how fast it moves. He has adapted to this attribute by using two separate fighting styles each fitting his mood. His more aggressive state allows him to deal very powerful blows, but is considerably slow and doesn't plan out his movements that much. In his calmer state, he uses a more organized style of martial arts, and there are little openings in his attacks. In this form he moves swiftly, seeming to become invisible as he moves although his attacks are not as powerful, but with his speed and agility, he makes up for it. His speed is said to rival that of Sonic the Hedgehog himself.

He has only been exposed to chaos energy in brief intervals, so he is not very experienced with chaos energy, but he has learned to use chaos control, not yet mastering it, and it drains his energy considerably as well, so he prefers to use his speed instead. In his "super form" when utilizing the powers of all 7 emeralds, or the master emerald, his wind abilities are amplified, and both of his calm and aggressive fighting styles are combined, creating a harmony between the two, with fast, powerful attacks, and very few openings. His mood in this form can be defined as a type of calm fury. As a result of him beginning to try and piece together his past, the memories have manifested into a type of alter ego, and named themselves Raike. Raike and Sky are opposites, and Raike tends to give off the impression that he doesn't care for his other half but time and time again, when Sky is in a certain type of trouble, he will come to his aid, with a stronger and more sinister version of Sky's styles and wind manipulations, although with less imperfections. This comes with consequences, those being that even if Sky was fighting an enemy, when Raike appears he will attack any in the vicinity along with the enemy. He can be very ruthless and unforgiving, qualities that make him the exact opposite of Sky.

Most people at first glance, and probably second glance would make him out to be a very laid-back kind of guy. This is a part of his nature. When with his friends, he can be a very funny person, and sometimes a bit weird. He also tends to get on peoples nerves a bit with his carefree attitude, but this doesn't mean he cannot experience true fury. His joking attitude is something he may take to far, which leads to him toying with his enemy in battle, which can ultimately lead to his defeat. He has been known to have more of a quiet side, which tends to come out after disasters or a lost battle. When he loeses, he makes sure to train even harder so that he would be prepared to face the enemy again.

Even though he is one of the newest members of the freedom fighters, he doesn't make any efforts to try and win favor with their leader. His attribute is wind, which hates to be restrained and so naturally he doesn't get along too well with Ariadne. He usually ends up doing his own things, sometimes deviating from the original missions purpose.

As far as he can remember, Sky had always been a drifter, moving from place to place frequently, and never stopping in a set place for too long. He has made a couple of friends along his lifetime, and has even met a few siblings of his. It was revealed to him after some time that his memory of his childhood had been erased to prevent permanent emotional damage, but eventually he began to try and put together the pieces of his memory, revealing a grim past featuring the deaths of his sister and little brother. He also recalled the name of the executioner, "Murkaru" but not much else about his appearance or abilities. Along his search for his memories, he became involved in a group called the "Freedom Fighters" which he thought could lead him to a few people who might have answers to what had happened in his past, as well as fighting for a worthy cause.

That's a pretty good sign up, but what are your character's weaknesses? And rivaling Sonic the hedgehog is a bit much, as moving at 100 mph (a ridiculous speed for someone to run) doesn't even come close to Sonic's speed.

The weaknesses are within the fighting styles he uses, each of them have a weakness. His agressive fighting style has powerful attacks but is slow. The more calm fighting style is very fast, but the attacks have a little less than normal damage. The reason he can run as fast as he does(and he usually flies FTR) is because he can manipulate the winds currents around his body to make less resistance for the steps he takes as well as speeding up his own movements by using the wind to speed his legs up by pushing them. Of course it takes a lot of concentration not to trip himself up.
