    Hey so what do you people think about the anime Soul Eater I think that it is one of the greatest anime out there it has an interesting storyline and some humor, my favorite character by far has to be BlackStar he is great fighter and brings humor into the show at times. :D
     
    I recently watched Soul Eater and instantly got hooked. I'm already on episode 41. I'm kind of mad though since FUNimation liscenced it. Now I have to wait for a crappy English Dub and SEF can't sub anymore episodes. My favorite character I guess would be Death the Kid.
     
    Is it ironic that just as I see this topic, I'm listening to the first OP (Resonance)?
    Anyway, I love love LOVE this anime.~ I'm very behind though, and need to catch up.

    Yes, Resonance is the best. I wish that they kept it through out the series though.
     
    Yeah I Like papermoon more also; Man I wish I could see more of Crona fighting though he(or she still don't know if it's a boy or a girl) hasn't been fighting a lot lately been too scared of Medusa also Ragnarok is one of the most awesome Weapons out there right next to Exaclibur(who is so annoying) kind of Ironic that they made one of the most powerful weapons out there annoying; Who is everyone elses favorite weapon? :D
     
    Watched a few episodes and stopped.
    I really want to get back in it but it's was not really appealing to me that much.
    Does it get much better after the first episodes?

    Yeah it does it gets way much better after the first episode, after like episode 6 or 7 they really get into the storyline.

    From the information I've gathered, Crona is an it. Out of all the weapons, I guess my favorite would Giriko.
     
    Yeah Soul Eater is pretty awesome, one of the best newer anime. Though I had no clue Funimation licensed it...I mean they do usually do a pretty good dub IMO, but getting subbed eps may be a bit harder now.

    As for favorite characters, Soul is just cool...but Black Star is pure badass.

    Do you think the dub will be able to get Black Star's yell right?
     
    Please, dubs almost never get anything right.
    I love Giriko, and the Golem (what was it's name again...?), that episode was really cool to watch.
     
    Yeah I am with him dubs don't get anything right the only good anime dub out there is dragonball z other than that, I don't think that the soul eater dub is going to be good, if they were however to have a perfect voice that matches Black Star I might watch it but I really doubt that they can find a voice that is perfect for Shinigami.
     
    Eh. FUNimation did an ok job with Fullmetal Alchemist.
     
    Well yeah and they did improve on the voices on One Piece they even kept the original japanese opening and not just that they translated it into english and did an awesome job on it; I am kind of glad that FUNimation licensed it, before 4kids got to it first.

    Srsly.
    If 4kids got to it, there would be so many changes to the show, it wouldn't even remotely look like Soul Eater. ex. Blood amount decreased/removed/replaced with some other thing etc.
