3rd Gen south island?

    • ok, i've heard/seen the south island on r/s online but have no idea how to get to it... it rumored on the south island you can catch latias (for ruby) and latios (for saphire) if anybody knows how to get there please help.........

    • In order to get to the South Island, you need to have the EON-ticket.
    Only Nintendo officials can give you this ticket by putting it on your cassete.
    You will need the mystery event option activated and have at least 5 badges.
    I have been there and yes you can catch Latias(ruby) or Latios(sapphire) there.
    You can always use Gameshark, but I don't specialise in that stuff.

    You could buy the Ticket for like 2 bucks from certain stores, although I'm not sure if it's legal to resale that stuff. I still have ny Eon Ticket here but I don't have an E-reader.

    Activate Mystery Event by going to the Petalburg Pokemon Center. Talk to the guy next to the PC inside and choose the words that make up the phrase MYSTERY EVENT IS EXCITING to activate it.

    • i've beaten 5 gym leaders and i've got mystery event but i'm still confused on

    1:where is an e-reader? (i've checked walmart,target,safeway, and a ton of game stores but none have it)
    2: where do you get a eon ticket???????? i'm in co.

    An E-reader is a device Nintendo made that lets you play minigames and stuff by scanning special cards into it. Like scanning a credit card.

    You get the Eon Ticket either from Nintendo or buying one off of someone, then scanning the Eon Ticket into an E-reader to put it into your Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire.

    I've never been to the island before, but it's probably a simple one way island if all it has is a Lati@s on it. I think all it has is a Lati@s.

    EDIT: In Sapphire, you find Latias in the wild running around and Latios on the island. In Ruby, you find Latios running around and Latias on the island.

    Its REALLY small.

    • If you have a Codebreaker, this code will put the eon ticket in your pc 82025BCC0113. and this one will let you get to the island from the ship in Lilycove 32026A5E0088. just talk to the lady who lets you an the ship. :) hope i help a little.

    I got my EON ticket from Nintendo Power like a year ago or something.

    There is nothing else on the Island other than Latios/Latias.

    Yes the ticket is available on eBay, but you are going to pay alot for it. And then you would have to buy an eReader and buy/borrow another GBA to scan the card into your game.

    So in the long run, you might be better off buying a Game Shark or an Action Replay.

    • Just for information, the e-reader is not available in the UK, and no games released here are compatible with it. So, we had a different method of getting the EON ticket. Special one-day event happened over the UK. My friend has the EON ticket, so I'm gonna get it off him (you can actually transfer the EON ticket in the UK, I don't know about US EON tickets, but you use the Mystery Event to transfer from game to game).

    And we got it for free, didn't have to pay, so that was worth the one-day event :-)

    Yes...when you can get there without cheating, you can get there with cheating. Look up/search for the code in the Codes thread somewhre. See that "Search Thread" button on the top?? Press it and enter in your inquiry. That is the first time I ever used that word.

    Anything ever involving codes or cheating devices should go in the Codes thread. And, Welcome to the PC.
