    Report all spam posts here. Mods will check it out, and go and do the needed thing.

    I thought this would save the moderator's PM inbox space, since most post-report-buttoned reports go into those. We can leave the buttons for severe rule breaks. Or something.

    Please close if you (all mods and admins) don't approve this idea.
     
    Generally I agree with this idea, but since I'm always in the art section I can just IM cowrie when I spot trouble.

    We have more PM space FOR those reports you know, and they aren't much of a hassle. This would just turn out pointless. oo;;

    The mods are whining about their getting too mant reports...

    This won't solve anything however, but make things less convenient.
     
    If you reported all spam here, you would most likely cause a flame war, because the person who posted might not think it's spam...

    Dude, it's easier to click a button than it is to come over here, give a link, and post. Mods do a good job about closing things and monitoring spammy. Unlike normal members, they have way more room for PMs, room mostly for spam reports I'm guessing. Didn't you make a thread about reporting before? Do you think the staff isn't doing a good job about spam or something? Why not just state that out? I'm sure they really have more on thier minds now than spam, so I'd chill if they don't catch spam or close a thread in less than a minute. Remember, what you think is spam might not be spam to someone else.

    Yeah well another reason is for this is that some of the mods ARE whining that they get too many reports. PM spaces saved, mod whining stopped.

    Well THEY have a bigger PM box for those reports. If THEY are having problems keeping up with them or something, they can come to an upper staff. Complaining about too many is pointless, since Smods up get 8 reports+ usually in a day.

    Thats what I said before in some other thred. They were having a spaz attack cause I said 'its your job.' Hey, you dont like your job, quit!
     
    whoa.. ease up a bit..

    use the report button.. it's there for a reason and works quite well.. there is no reason to have spam threads posted twice (one original and a report here) it just add clutter to PC and looks uncool.
     
    ^^ Just the point I was trying to prove, that some mods seriously hate getting reports.

    And THAT'S where THIS thread comes in. And its not uncool, LOADS of huge forums have this thread.
