    I discovered this on my own when I was bored playing FR.

    Articuno- Arctic - uno = Arctic One

    Zapdos- Zap - dos = Zap Two

    Moltres- Molt - tres =Molt Three

    Cool huh?

    Some of you may have already knew it.

    If you have any other cool Pokemon connections to anything post them here.
     
    Well since I'm spanish and got the game in Spanish then pretty much yeah.

    Sorry to break your bubble, but this is as old as the dinosaurs. Plus there are other international language references in Pokemon names.
     
    Well,there are some other sequence of other language in pokemon naming...there are a lot actually....n if i am not mistaken there is a thread talking about names of pokemon n where it origin from....few i can remember is ekans,which is snake if read from behind...same goes to arbok....and even raikou,entei and suicune is another sequence of other language...^^
